Howard was the editor-in-chief and chief content officer at American Media, Inc. (AMI) from 2013-2020. During his tenure, he oversaw Us Weekly, OK!, Star, In Touch, Life & Style, RadarOnline, and the National Enquirer, amongst others. On October 6, 2020 Howard was announced as the USA publisher and chief executive officer of global fashion media brand, Grazia.

    7HD is an Australian television channel, owned by Seven West Media, originally launched on 15 October 2007 featuring unique breakaway programming from 10 December 2007 to 4 October 2009 and a HD simulcast of Seven until 25 September 2010. The channel is available to high definition digital television viewers in metropolitan areas through a number of owned-and-operated stations. On 25 September 2010, 7HD was replaced by the new channel 7mate.

    C7 Sport was a pay-TV service in Australia, owned and run by Seven Network. The service was carried on the Austar and Optus Vision pay-TV networks between 1995 and 2002. Seven unsuccessfully pursued court action against competitors, seeking damages of $480 million, but lost the case and was described by the judge as exhibiting "more than a hint of hypocrisy" in regard to the issue of price-ramping of broadcast rights.

    Austext is the former Australian teletext service based in Brisbane, Queensland. The production was carried and operated by the Seven Network and its affiliates over most of Australia. It carried news, financial information, weather, lottery results, TV guide and other information. The service was freely available for viewing on any television, computer or other device with teletext functionality and the ability to access and view Channel Seven, or one of Seven's regional affiliates Prime, GWN or Southern Cross. Seven first began test Teletext services in 1977 with useful information being transmitted in 1982 in Brisbane and Sydney. Over the years, the service has had various names including SevenTel.
