September 2010 crimes in Europe

Elin Krantz was a Swedish 27-year-old woman who was murdered in the Biskopsgården district of Gothenburg on 26 September 2010. Krantz was killed by Ephrem Yohannes, a 23-year-old Ethiopian immigrant, after an extremely painful rape and murder in Biskopsgården where her body was found.

The explosion at Hotel Jørgensen was a minor explosion inside of the discount hostel of the same name in central Copenhagen, Denmark. The explosion happened at 1:23 pm on 10 September 2010. No fatalities were recorded. The only injured person was the one-legged Chechnyan-Belgian bomber Lors Doukaiev, who was caught in a nearby park, Ørstedsparken, following the explosion, but only identified several days later.

The 2010 Lörrach hospital shooting rampage occurred on 19 September 2010 in the small town of Lörrach, Germany near the Swiss border. Sabine Radmacher, a 41-year-old woman, killed her five-year-old son and the boy's father, her ex-partner. She then crossed the street to St. Elisabethen Hospital, where she shot and stabbed one nurse, killing him, and also injuring eighteen others, including a police officer. Soon after, the woman was fatally shot by special police units.
