Schaerbeek

The Josaphat Brownfield (formerly the Schaerbeek Josaphat marshalling yard) is a 25 ha (62-acre) piece of land located between Schaerbeek and Evere in Brussels. Once a marshalling yard between the Meiser railway station and the Evere railway station linking Schaerbeek and Halle, the brownfield has since developed into a biodiversity haven in the heart of the European Union's capital.

Bel RTL is a commercial radio network broadcasting in Brussels and Wallonia (French-speaking Belgium). The station is owned by the Radio H holding company, which is part of the Belgium-based RTL Belgium. It is now owned by DPG Media and Groupe Rossel since 31 March 2022.

The Municipal Hall (French: Hôtel communal; Dutch: Gemeentehuis) of Schaerbeek is the municipal hall building and the seat of that municipality of Brussels, Belgium. Designed by the architect Jules Jacques Van Ysendyck [fr] in neo-Flemish Renaissance style and completed in 1887, it is located at the centre of the Place Colignon/Colignonplein. This site is served by the tram stop Pavillon/Paviljoen (on line 55).

On 10 November 2022 in Brussels, Belgium, a stabbing attack killed a police officer and injured another. Authorities suspected the attack to be terror-related. The attacker shouted the Arabic phrase "Allahu Akbar" during the attakc.

The premetro and tram route 7 in Brussels, Belgium, is operated by STIB/MIVB, and connects the Vanderkindere stop in the southern municipality of Uccle to the Heysel/Heizel stop in Laeken in the City of Brussels, where connecting services of tram route 51, Metro line 6, as well as bus routes 84 and 88 depart. The colour of the signage for this line is bright yellow.

The tram route 55 in Brussels, Belgium, is operated by STIB/MIVB, and connects Bordet railway station in the municipality of Evere, north-east of Brussels, to Rogier metro station in the City of Brussels. The route also crosses the municipalities of Saint-Josse and Schaerbeek. The route was cut in the 2000s with STIB/MIVB willing to reduce the number of tram routes riding in the North–South Axis. Prior to this, the route went on up to the southern municipality of Uccle at the Silence stop. A part of this section is now served by Brussels tram route 51.

The premetro and tram route 3 in Brussels, Belgium, was operated by STIB/MIVB, and connected the Esplanade stop (on the borders of Neder-Over-Heembeek in Laeken in the City of Brussels and Strombeek-Bever) with the Churchill stop in the southern municipality of Uccle. The line was named after the planned Metro line 3, which is set to service most of the former route of tram line 3. The colour of the signage for this line was lime-green.

The tram route 24 in Brussels, Belgium was a tram route operated by the STIB/MIVB, which connected the Schaerbeek railway station to the Vanderkindere stop in the municipality of Uccle. The route ran only on weekdays until 8:00 pm.

Meiser railway station (French: Gare de Meiser; Dutch: Station Meiser) is a railway station in the municipality of Schaerbeek in Brussels, Belgium, opened in 1976. It is located on line 26, between Schaerbeek-Josaphat and of Merode stations. The Meiser crossroad on the Greater Ring is located a hundred meters away from the station, which lies under the Chaussée de Louvain/Leuvensesteenweg. The station can be accessed via the Chaussée de Louvain, the Avenue Rogier/Rogierlaan or the Rue de la Luzerne/Luzernestraat. The train services are operated by the National Railway Company of Belgium (NMBS/SNCB).

The Northern Quarter (French: Quartier Nord or Espace Nord Dutch: Noordwijk or Noordruimte) is the central business district of Brussels, Belgium. Like La Défense in Paris, the Docklands in London or the Zuidas in Amsterdam, the Northern Quarter consists of a concentrated collection of high-rise buildings where many Belgian and multinational companies have their headquarters.
