San Jose Diridon station is the central passenger rail depot for San Jose, California. It also serves as a major intermodal transit center for Santa Clara County and Silicon Valley. The station is named after former Santa Clara County Supervisor Rod Diridon Sr.

A pedestrian bridge connects the station to the nearby Great Mall of the Bay Area, after which the station is named.

Old Ironsides station is served by the Orange Line and is the northern terminal of the Green Line. Immediately west of the station site is a pocket track and double crossover, allowing Green Line trains to switch between tracks and enabling the storage of three, 3-car trains to mobilize trains quickly after the end of an event at Levi's Stadium.

It was accessed via a pedestrian tunnel under the Caltrain tracks from Evelyn Avenue at the intersection with Pioneer Way. The station was closed and demolished in 2015 to permit double-tracking of the line.
