    Glen Frey was an American college football head coach who holds the distinction as being the New Jersey State Teachers College at Glassboro (now called Rowan University) program's first head coach. Rowan University now competes in NCAA Division III.

    Ted Kershner (born May 27, 1938) is a former American football player and coach. He served as the head coach at Glassboro State College (now called Rowan University), an NCAA Division III program in Glassboro, New Jersey. He was the fourth all-time coach for the Profs and compiled a 35–34 record in seven seasons. In 1983, the Profs were New Jersey State Athletic Conference Co-Champions with Trenton State College. Kershner coached Rowan football for 20 years as an assistant and head coach. He also taught at Rowan.

    Richard Wackar (born February 24, 1928) is a former American football and basketball coach. He served as the head football coach at Glassboro State College (now called Rowan University), an NCAA Division III program in Glassboro, New Jersey. He was the third all-time coach for the Profs and compiled a 65–84–4 record in 17 seasons. Wackar's most notable accomplishment, however, is being recognized as the only coach in NJAC history to win conference championships in four sports (football, basketball, golf and cross country). He currently lives in Pitman.

    Kurt Charles "K. C." Keeler (born July 26, 1959) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the Head Football Coach at Sam Houston State University. He was the head football coach at the University of Delaware from 2002 to 2012. Keeler served as the head football coach at Rowan University from 1993 to 2001. His 2003 Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens squad won the NCAA Division I-AA Football Championship, and returned to the Division I Championship game in 2007 and 2010. Keeler is currently the 44th winningest coach in the history of college football. In Keeler’s 26 years as a head football coach he has won 233 games. He has taken 15 teams to the NCAA playoffs with 13 of his teams reaching the Final Four and 8 of his teams reaching the National Championship game. K.C. is one of only four FCS Head Coaches to win all three of the National Coach of the Year awards. In 2010 he won both the AFCA and Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year and in 2016 he was awarded the Eddie Robinson National Coach of the Year. In 2019, an ESPN Blue Ribbon Panel selected Keeler as one of the 150 greatest coaches in college football history.

    Jay Accorsi (born October 1, 1963) is an American college football head coach at Rowan University, an NCAA Division III program in Glassboro, New Jersey. He began coaching at Rowan in 2002, and in his first season he led the Profs to a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) championship, which was their second in a row. He has guided them to seven outright or tied NJAC championships in all. In 2010, Rowan was the co-champion with Montclair State, but due to a tiebreaker they did not qualify for the postseason. Then, in 2013, Rowan received the playoff bid because of their tiebreaker over SUNY Brockport.
