He played college football at Monmouth following three years of college lacrosse at Penn State. Hogan joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2011, but did not land a final roster spot until 2012 with the Buffalo Bills. After four seasons in Buffalo, Hogan signed a three-year contract with the New England Patriots, leading to consecutive Super Bowl appearances each season and victories in Super Bowl LI and Super Bowl LIII.

    Amy S. Grossberg (born 1978) is an American woman who delivered a baby at a Comfort Inn in Newark, Delaware, in November 1996, assisted only by her then-boyfriend Brian C. Peterson (born 1978), who later threw the baby into a dumpster. In March 1998, Peterson pled guilty to manslaughter and served a two-year sentence; on April 22, 1998, Grossberg agreed to a plea bargain, and was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison on July 9, 1998.

A member of the Democratic Party, she was the first woman to maintain her own career while serving as first lady, and also the first Catholic and first Greek American to serve in this position. As first lady, Easley championed educational, artistic, and public health initiatives in North Carolina. She focused on promoting childhood immunization, access to public libraries, and teacher recruitment across the state. An avid arts patron, she partnered with the North Carolina Museum of Art to help procure funding and bring in international exhibits, including exhibits on Monet and Auguste Rodin. Prior to serving as first lady, Easley was one of the first women to serve as an assistant district attorney in eastern North Carolina.
