Railway stations in Thailand opened in the 1940s

Chiang Mai station (SRT Code: CGM) (Thai: สถานีเชียงใหม่ (ชม.)) is a 1st class station and the main railway station of Chiang Mai Province. This station is on the east side of the Ping River in the city of Chiang Mai. There are 10 daily trains, not including Eastern and Oriental Express trains servicing this station. There are also four to six special trains for New Year, Songkran and other special festivals. In the 2004 census, Chiang Mai station served nearly 800,000 passengers.

Udon Thani railway station is a railway station located in Mak Khaeng Sub-district, Mueang Udon Thani district, Udon Thani province. It is a class 1 railway station located 568.843 km (353.5 mi) from Bangkok railway station. It is the main railway station of Udon Thai province.

Kanchanaburi railway station is a main railway station of province of Kanchanaburi located in Ban Tai Subdistrict, Kanchanaburi City, Thailand. It is a class 1 railway station located 117.046 km (72.7 mi) from Thon Buri railway station, and 77 km (47.8 mi) away from the Nam Tok railway station, the terminal station. The line opened in 1942 by the Imperial Japanese Army, during the Second World War. After the war, the State Railway of Thailand bought the line from the Allied powers, and the station reopened in June 24, 1949, from Nong Pladuk Junction.
