The Zagreb Glavni kolodvor–Sisak–Novska railway, officially designated the M502 railway is a 116.8-kilometre (72.6 mi) railway line in Croatia connecting Zagreb to Sisak and Novska. Until 2014, the railway was classified as M104.

Lika railway (Croatian: Lička pruga), officially a part of M604 railway, is a 220 km-long single-track, un-electrified railroad connecting Zagreb-Rijeka line with Knin railway hub. It mostly runs through Lika region. M604 railway is the only operating railway link between continental Croatia and Dalmatia, especially its harbors of Split, Zadar (through M606), and Šibenik (M607). Lika railway, finished in 1925, is a key part of this link. The M604 line itself runs from Oštarije/Ogulin on Zagreb-Rijeka railway past Knin, to Split terminus. Its total length is 320 km. Historically, much older Knin-Split section of M604 line (built in 1888) used to be known as Dalmatian railway.

The Hum Lug-Gornja Stubica railway, officially designated as the L202 railway, is a 10.823 km (6.725 mi) railway line of local significance in Croatia that connects corridor's eastern terminus Gornja Stubica, along with the halts Donja Stubica, Stubičke Toplice and Oroslavje, with the R201 railway corridor (Zaprešić-Čakovec) in Hum Lug. The line is today used for passenger (local) transport exclusively.

The state border–Savski Marof–Zagreb Glavni kolodvor railway (Croatian: Pruga državna granica–Savski Marof-Zagreb Glavni kolodvor), officially designated as the M101 railway, is a 26.709-kilometre (16.596 mi) railway line in Croatia, connecting the nation's capital Zagreb and its main railway station to the Slovene railway network west of Savski Marof and further on with Ljubljana. Its route follows the Sava Valley. It is an integral part of the Pan-European Corridor X running from Salzburg and Ljubljana towards Skopje and Thessaloniki. The line is electrified and double-tracked. The line is used for passenger (urban-suburban, regional and international) and freight traffic.

The Dugo Selo–Novska railway (Croatian: Pruga Dugo Selo–Novska), officially designated as the M103 railway, is a 83.405-kilometre (51.825 mi) railway line in Croatia that connects Dugo Selo, situated east of national capital Zagreb, to Novska and the M105 railway extending east towards Belgrade. Its route follows the Sava River valley. It is an integral part of railway Pan-European Corridor X running from Salzburg and Ljubljana towards Skopje and Thessaloniki.

The Zagreb Glavni kolodvor–Dugo Selo railway, officially designated the M102 railway, is a 22.202-kilometre (13.796 mi) railway line in Croatia that connects the Croatian capital city Zagreb with the Dugo Selo. It is part of the Pan-European Corridor V, branch b, which runs from Rijeka to Budapest and the Pan-European Corridor X. The line is fully electrified and double-tracked. The M102 railway connects to several other railway lines within the Zagreb railway node linking the capital to other parts of Croatia and neighbouring countries. Besides Zagreb Glavni kolodvor (Zagreb main railway station) and Dugo Selo, the west and east termini of the railway, the line serves six other railway stations. One of them is Zagreb Borongaj, where the L203 railway connects as a branch line. The line is used for passenger (urban-suburban, regional and international) and freight traffic.

The Novska–Tovarnik railway (Croatian: Pruga Novska-Tovarnik), officially designated as the M104 railway, is a 185.4-kilometre (115.2 mi) long railway line in Croatia that connects Novska to the Serbian railway network east of Tovarnik, continuing to the city of Belgrade. It is electrified double-track railway. Its route follows the Sava river valley making it the primary railway line of Slavonia. It is an integral part of railway Pan-European Corridor X running from Salzburg and Ljubljana towards Skopje and Thessaloniki. It is electrified and double-tracked. Until 2014, the railway was classified as M105.

The Novska–Tovarnik railway (Croatian: Pruga Novska-Tovarnik), officially designated as the M104 railway, is a 185.4-kilometre (115.2 mi) long railway line in Croatia that connects Novska to the Serbian railway network east of Tovarnik, continuing to the city of Belgrade. It is electrified double-track railway. Its route follows the Sava river valley making it the primary railway line of Slavonia. It is an integral part of railway Pan-European Corridor X running from Salzburg and Ljubljana towards Skopje and Thessaloniki. It is electrified and double-tracked. Until 2014, the railway was classified as M105.

The Sarajevo–Ploče railway is a 194-kilometre (121-mile) long railway in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. The line connects Sarajevo with Konjic, Mostar and Ploče. The route operates through the regions of Sarajevo Canton, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and Dubrovnik-Neretva County. The route largely follows the route of the Neretva river. Passenger services along the full length of line have been discontinued between 2013 and 2022, running only between Sarajevo and the town of Čapljina on the Bosnian-Croatian border. International train service between Sarajevo and Ploče resumed on 1 July 2022, on weekends until 1 September 2022, using Spanish-designed Talgo wagons. This service also ran during the summer of 2023. The line is part of the pan-European corridor 5C from Budapest via Osijek and Sarajevo to Ploče. The section through Bosnia and Herzegovina is marked 11, and through Croatia M304.

The Zabok – Krapina – Đurmanec – state border with Slovenia railway, officially designated as the R106 railway, is a 27.19 km (16.8 mi) long railway line in north-west Croatia which originates out of the regional corridor R201 in Zabok and connects with Slovenian railway network near Rogatec.
