Puerto Rican comedians

Elizabeth Larrieu Torres (born September 27, 1947) is an American actress, singer, and comedian. Torres is best known for her role as Mahalia Sanchez in the NBC comedy series The John Larroquette Show (1993–1996), for which she received two Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominations. She is also known for her role as Patricia "Miss Patty" LaCosta in The WB family drama series Gilmore Girls (2000–07).

Elín Ortiz (December 14, 1934 – June 12, 2016) was a Puerto Rican actor, comedian and producer. He died on June 12, 2016, primarily due to Alzheimer's Disease.

Sonya Cortés (born February 17, 1962) is a Puerto Rican dancer, actress, comedian, singer, model, and host of TV and radio shows. She was one of the hosts in Univision talk and variety show Anda Pa'l Cara. Cortés is also a bachata singer. She has released three albums. As of 2007 she's also starring on stage with Francisco Gattorno and Marian Pabón in a comedy play. in 2010 she became the host of the Univision program "Locas de Atar".

Gricel Mamery Muñoz (born in Mayagüez in 1965) is a Puerto Rican television hostess and comedian, best known for her appearance on the Puerto Rican show Anda Pa'l Cara, and as a color commentator for the Spanish language program, broadcast in Puerto Rico.

Armando Hipólito Avellanet González (born August 13, 1941 in Mayagüez), nicknamed "Chucho" (from the Basque Txutxo), is a Spanish-Puerto Rican singer and comedic actor.

Raymond Arrieta (born March 26, 1965) is a Puerto Rican actor, comedian, host and philanthropist. Starting his career as a comedian in various local shows, Arrieta gained popularity in the 1990s when he hosted a string of successful comedy shows where he showcased his various characters and personifications. Since 2007, Arrieta has been hosting the mid-day variety show Día a Día, along with Dagmar. Arrieta is also a radio show host and a theater actor.

Alba Raquel Barros (born 14 December 1952 in Santurce, Puerto Rico) is an actress, comedian, and dancer. She is better known for her acting career, and she has won many national awards for her work, both in the television and theatrical fields.

Luis Raúl Martínez Rodríguez (March 6, 1962 – February 2, 2014), better known as Luis Raúl, was a Puerto Rican actor, comedian and television host. He was known for his stand-up comedy and his various characters. He also hosted Univision's talk and variety show Anda Pa'l Cará from 2001 to 2003 and Telemundo's game show Pa' Que Te Lo Goces in 2006. He died early in the morning of February 2, 2014 from kidney failure which in turn led to cardiac and respiratory arrest.

Marian Pabón (born c. 1958 in San Juan, Puerto Rico) is a Puerto Rican actress. She also had some success as a singer and recording artist.

Mercedes Delpino (February 19, 1898 – May 12, 1965) was an American dancer and comedian, born in Puerto Rico. She was half of a successful vaudeville and burlesque comedy act in the 1920s with Bert Lahr, who was also her husband.
