Shogakukan Inc. (株式会社小学館, Kabushiki-gaisha Shōgakukan, often pronounced as Shōgakkan due to devoicing) is a Japanese publisher of comics, magazines, light novels, dictionaries, literature, non-fiction, home media, and other media in Japan.

Time, Inc. (also referred to as Time & Life, Inc. later on, after their two onetime flagship magazine publications) was an American worldwide mass media corporation founded on November 28, 1922, by Henry Luce and Briton Hadden and based in New York City. It owned and published over 100 magazine brands, including its namesake Time, Sports Illustrated, Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine, Fortune, People, InStyle, Life, Golf Magazine, Southern Living, Essence, Real Simple, and Entertainment Weekly. It also had subsidiaries which it co-operated with the UK magazine house Time Inc. UK (which was later sold and since has been rebranded to TI Media), whose major titles include What's on TV, NME, Country Life, and Wallpaper. Time Inc. also co-operated over 60 websites and digital-only titles including MyRecipes, Extra Crispy, TheSnug, HelloGiggles, and MIMI.

Wiley-Blackwell is an international scientific, technical, medical, and scholarly publishing business of John Wiley & Sons. It was formed by the merger of John Wiley & Sons Global Scientific, Technical, and Medical business with Blackwell Publishing in 2007.

The Register and Tribune Syndicate was a syndication service based in Des Moines, Iowa, that operated from 1922 to 1986, when it was acquired by King Features to become the Cowles Syndicate affiliate. At its peak, the Register and Tribune Syndicate offered newspapers some 60 to 75 features, including editorial cartoonist Herblock, comic strips, and commentaries by David Horowitz, Stanley Karnow, and others.

A. J. Stasny Music Co. was an American publisher of popular sheet music. The firm was chartered as a New York corporation in 1922 by Betty "Bessie" Stastny (née Fisher) (1882–1974) and her husband, Anthony John Stastny (1885–1923), and M. Kerr – although, there was music published from as early as 1908 bearing the name A. J. Stasny Music Co. Cleveland, Ohio. A. J. Stasny and his wife had moved from Cleveland to New York in 1910. The New York firm was based out of the Tin Pan Alley district of Manhattan, New York. By 1920, the firm had grown into one of the largest music publishing companies in the country with branch offices in 18 large cities, including Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, and London – with over 200 employees and grossing over one million dollars a year.

The Officina Bodoni was a private press operated by Giovanni Mardersteig from 1922. It was named after the great eighteenth-century Italian typographer Giambattista Bodoni. The Officina Bodoni is known for printing books of the very highest quality and the finest craftsmanship.
