Ciarán Cannon (born 19 September 1965) is an Irish Fine Gael politician who has served as Minister of State for the Diaspora and International Development since June 2017. He has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Galway East constituency since 2011. He previously served as Minister of State for Training and Skills from 2011 to 2014. He was a Senator from 2007 to 2011, on being Nominated by the Taoiseach.

Noel Grealish (born 16 December 1965) is an Irish Independent politician and former leader of the Progressive Democrats who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Galway West constituency since the 2002 general election.

Fiona O'Malley (born 19 January 1968) is a former Irish politician. She was a Progressive Democrats Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dún Laoghaire constituency from 2002 until 2007, and was a member of Seanad Éireann from 2007 to 2011.

Geraldine Kennedy (born 1 September 1951) is an Irish journalist and politician who served as the first female editor of The Irish Times newspaper. She previously served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dún Laoghaire constituency from 1987 to 1989.

Michael Eoin McDowell (born 29 May 1951) is an Irish Independent politician and barrister who served as Tánaiste from 2006 to 2007, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform from 2002 to 2007, Leader of the Progressive Democrats from 2006 to 2007 and Attorney General of Ireland from 1999 to 2002. He served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin South-East constituency from 1987 to 1989, 1992 to 1997 and 2002 to 2007. He has been a Senator for the National University of Ireland since April 2016.

Desmond Joseph O'Malley (2 February 1939 – 21 July 2021) was an Irish politician who served as Minister for Industry and Commerce from 1977 to 1981 and 1989 to 1992, Leader of the Progressive Democrats from 1985 to 1993, Minister for Trade, Commerce and Tourism from March 1982 to October 1982, Minister for Justice from 1970 to 1973 and Government Chief Whip and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Defence from 1969 to 1970. He served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Limerick East constituency from 1968 to 2002.

Patrick Cox (born 28 November 1952) is an Irish politician and former television current affairs presenter. He was President of the European Parliament from 2002 to 2004 and served as a member of the European Parliament from 1989 to 2004. Before this Cox was a journalist and presenter with RTÉ's Today Tonight and then a Teachta Dála (TD) for Cork South-Central.
