Julián Baltasar Mariano José Luis de la Santísima Trinidad Álvarez (Buenos Aires, (8 January 1788) – Montevideo, (25 November 1843) was an Argentine and Uruguayan lawyer and politician.

Luis Alberto Alejandro Aparicio Lacalle Pou (born 11 August 1973) is a Uruguayan politician and lawyer serving as President of Uruguay since 1 March 2020. A member of the National Party, he is among the country's youngest presidents.

Since February 15, 2015 she is a Representative for Paysandú Department. Between 2019 and 2020 she served as President of the Chamber of Representatives of Uruguay.

Gerardo Amarilla (born 1 February 1969) is an Uruguayan politician. He was President of the Chamber of Deputies of Uruguay between 1 March 2016 and 1 March 2017. He replaced Alejandro Sánchez [es]. Amarilla is a member of the National Party. He was succeeded as President by José Carlos Mahía [es] on 1 March 2017.
