In 2010, she completed the Seven Summits. She presents the television series Kobieta na krańcu świata (Woman at the Edge of the World), and is the editor in chief of National Geographic Poland.

    Wanda Rutkiewicz (née Błaszkiewicz) (4 February 1943 – 12–13 May 1992) was a Polish mountain climber and computer engineer. She was the first woman to reach the summit of K2 and the third woman to climb Mount Everest.

    Józef Jerzy Kukuczka (24 March 1948 in Katowice, Poland – 24 October 1989 Lhotse, Nepal) was a Polish alpine and high-altitude climber. Born in Katowice, his family origin is Silesian Goral. On 18 September 1987, he became the second man (after Reinhold Messner), to climb all fourteen eight-thousanders in the world; a feat which took him less than 8 years to accomplish. He is the only person in the world who has climbed two eight-thousanders in one winter. Altogether, he ascended four eight-thousanders in winter, including three as first ascents. Along with Tadeusz Piotrowski, Kukuczka established a new route on K2 in alpine style (the so-called "Polish Line"), which no one has repeated.

Zawada was an organiser and leader in numerous high-mountains expeditions. Author of movies and photographs from expeditions, co-author of Alpinist books. Honorary member of the British Alpine Club, French Groupe de Haute Montagne and American The Explorers Club.

    Denis Urubko (Russian: Дени́с Ви́кторович Уру́бко; 29 July 1973 in Nevinnomyssk, RSFSR) is a Russian-Kazakhstani mountaineer. In 2009, he became the 15th person to climb all 14 eight-thousanders and the eight person to achieve the feat without the use of supplementary oxygen. He holds both Russian and Polish dual citizenship.

    Maciej Berbeka (17 October 1954, Zakopane, Poland – 6 March 2013, Broad Peak, Baltistan) was a Polish mountaineer, mountain guide UIAGM and member of TOPR. He and his teammate Tomasz Kowalski went missing on 6 March 2013 as they were descending from Broad Peak. They were declared dead two days later.

    Leszek Roman Cichy is a Polish mountaineer, geodesist, financier, and entrepreneur. He was born in Pruszków, Poland on November 14, 1951. He is best known for making the first winter ascent of Mount Everest together with Krzysztof Wielicki in 1980 which established the winter ascent record of 8,848 meters. He was also the first Polish climber to complete the Seven Summits and a number of other prestigious climbs.

    Anna Barańska – (born 8 September 1976) – Polish mountaineer, and climber of three eight-thousanders. The first Polish woman on the North Face of Mount Everest, climbed on 21 May 2009. She was born and lives in Warsaw. She obtained her master's degrees from the Warsaw School of Economics and works in financial advisory (M&A, corporate finance). She is not a member of any mountain organization and she does not perceive herself as an alpinist. She started her mountaineering adventure in 2000 by climbing Rysy from the Slovak side. The next climbings were as follows: Gerlach 2650 m – June 2000; Triglav 2864 m – September 2001; Mont Blanc 4810 m – August 2002 ; Elbrus 5642 m – unsuccessful summit trial in August 2003; Lenin's Peak 7210 m by the normal route – June 2004.
