Polish female climbers

Martyna Wojciechowska (born 28 September 1974 in Warsaw as Marta Eliza Wojciechowska) is a Polish TV presenter, mountaineer, traveller, journalist, sportswoman and writer. In 2010, she completed the Seven Summits. She presents the television series Kobieta na krańcu świata (Woman at the Edge of the World), and is the editor in chief of National Geographic Poland.

Wanda Rutkiewicz (née Błaszkiewicz) (4 February 1943 – 12–13 May 1992) was a Polish mountain climber and computer engineer. She was the first woman to reach the summit of K2 and the third woman to climb Mount Everest.

Kinga Baranowska (born 17 November 1975 in Wejherowo) is a Polish mountaineer. She made ascents of eight eight-thousanders and is the first Polish woman to have climbed Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Kangchenjunga. She currently lives in Warsaw.

Aleksandra Mirosław (née Rudzińska, born 2 February 1994) is a Polish speed climber and a two-time speed climbing world champion as well as the current speed climbing world record holder.

Natalia Kałucka (born 25 December 2001) is a Polish sport climber. She competed at the 2021 IFSC Climbing World Championships, winning the gold medal in the women's speed event. Kałucka is the twin sister of Aleksandra Kałucka.

Magdalena Gorzkowska (born 30 April 1992) is a Polish 400 metres sprinter turned mountaineer. As an athlete she was a silver medallist in the 4 × 400 metres relay at the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships. She holds a personal best of 52.95 seconds for the 400 m. Her accomplishments in mountaineering include ascents of Mont Blanc, Aconcagua, Kilimanjaro, Mount Everest (as the youngest Polish female) and Makalu (first Polish female without supplemental oxygen).

Anna Barańska – (born 8 September 1976) – Polish mountaineer, and climber of three eight-thousanders. The first Polish woman on the North Face of Mount Everest, climbed on 21 May 2009. She was born and lives in Warsaw. She obtained her master's degrees from the Warsaw School of Economics and works in financial advisory (M&A, corporate finance). She is not a member of any mountain organization and she does not perceive herself as an alpinist. She started her mountaineering adventure in 2000 by climbing Rysy from the Slovak side. The next climbings were as follows: Gerlach 2650 m – June 2000; Triglav 2864 m – September 2001; Mont Blanc 4810 m – August 2002 ; Elbrus 5642 m – unsuccessful summit trial in August 2003; Lenin's Peak 7210 m by the normal route – June 2004.

Anna Czerwińska (born 10 July 1949 in Warsaw) is a Polish mountaineer. She is known for being the oldest woman to Summit Mount Everest (at the time) at the age of 50 (born 10 July 1949, climbed Everest from the Nepal side on 22 May 2000). She has also published several books about mountaineering.

Aleksandra Kałucka (born 25 December 2001 in Tarnów) is a Polish sport climber. She participated at the 2022 IFSC Climbing European Championships, being awarded the silver medal in the women's speed event. Kałucka is the twin sister of Natalia Kałucka.
