An Ancient Tale: When the Sun Was a God (Polish: Stara baśń: Kiedy słońce było bogiem) is a 2003 Polish film, directed by Jerzy Hoffman. The film is based on an 1876 novel, Stara baśń, by Józef Ignacy Kraszewski.

Alice (a.k.a. Alicja) is a 1982 musical-fantasy film directed by Jacek Bromski. A Belgian and Polish co-production, it is a modern telling of Lewis Carroll's 1865 Alice's Adventures in Wonderland story and stars French actress Sophie Barjac in the title role. Jean-Pierre Cassel plays the jogger named Rabbit with whom Alice falls in love; Susannah York, Paul Nicholas, Jack Wild, Tracy Hyde, Peter Straker and Dominic Guard all have supporting roles.

Lamb (Icelandic: Dýrið, 'The animal') is a 2021 folk horror film directed by Valdimar Jóhannsson, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Sjón. The film's plot is about the birth of a human/sheep hybrid of mysterious origin and the couple who adopts the child as their own. An international co-production between Iceland, Sweden, and Poland, the film stars Noomi Rapace and marks Valdimar's feature-length directorial debut. Rapace and Béla Tarr were executive producers. After premiering at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, the film was released in Iceland on 24 September 2021. It was selected as the Icelandic entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 94th Academy Awards.

Pan Twardowski is a 1936 Polish fantasy film directed by Henryk Szaro and starring Franciszek Brodniewicz, Kazimierz Junosza-Stępowski and Maria Bogda. It is one of many films based on the legend of Pan Twardowski who makes a Faustian pact to win the love of a woman.

The Hexer or The Witcher (Polish: Wiedźmin) is a 2001 Polish fantasy film directed by Marek Brodzki and written by Michał Szczerbic. It stars Michał Żebrowski as Geralt of Rivia. The story is based on the books and stories of The Witcher written by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski.

The Saragossa Manuscript (Polish: Rękopis znaleziony w Saragossie, "The Manuscript found in Zaragoza") is a 1965 Polish film directed by Wojciech Has, based on the 1815 novel The Manuscript Found in Saragossa by Jan Potocki. Set primarily in Spain, it tells a frame story containing gothic, picaresque and erotic elements. In a deserted house during the Napoleonic Wars, two officers from opposing sides find a manuscript, which tells the tale of the Spanish officer's grandfather, Alphonso van Worden (Zbigniew Cybulski). Van Worden travelled in the region many years before, being plagued by evil spirits, and meeting such figures as a Qabalist, a sultan and a Romani person, who tell him further stories, many of which intertwine and interrelate with one another.

Akademia pana Kleksa ('Mr. Blot's Academy') is a 1983 fantasy film directed by Krzysztof Gradowski [pl]. An international co-production of Poland and the Soviet Union, the film is based on the 1946 children's novel of the same name by Jan Brzechwa, and is divided into two parts: Przygoda księcia Mateusza (Prince Matthew's Adventure) and Tajemnica Golarza Filipa (Mystery of Philip the Barber).

The Lure (Polish: Córki dancingu, 'Daughters of Dancing') is a 2015 Polish musical horror film directed by Agnieszka Smoczyńska. It tells the story of two sirens who emerge from the waters and perform in a nightclub. One falls in love with a man, and gives up her tail, but loses her voice in the process. The story is a reworking of the 1837 fairy tale "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen, with inspiration from Smoczyńska's experiences. After a Polish premiere, the film screened at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival and Fantasia Film Festival to positive reviews.

The Dybbuk (Yiddish: דער דיבוק, Der Dibuk; Polish: Dybuk) is a 1937 Yiddish-language Polish fantasy drama directed by Michał Waszyński and choreographed by Judith Berg. It is based on the play The Dybbuk by S. Ansky.

Alchemik is a Polish horror film written and directed by Jacek Koprowicz. It was released in 1988.
