Philippines men's national basketball team

The Philippines men's national basketball team (Filipino: Pambansang koponan ng basketbol ng Pilipinas) is managed by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (Basketball Federation of the Philippines or simply SBP).

The Northern Cement basketball team (popularly known as, the NCC basketball team) refers to the team that represented the national basketball program and training pool for the Philippines men's national basketball team from 1980 to 1986. The team was owned by businessman Eduardo "Danding" Cojuangco, Jr. under the banner of Northern Cement Corporation (NCC).

The Philippines men's national basketball team has competed in FIBA competitions for basketball clubs such as the FIBA Asia Champions Cup. In such cases the national team competed, they played under a club name, usually after a sponsor.

The PLDT HOME: The Last Home Stand was a charity basketball event in the Philippines, primarily sponsored by the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) and organized by East-West Private LLC, a US-based events organizing company, that featured the Philippine men's national basketball team (Gilas Pilipinas) together with the players from the National Basketball Association. The proceeds of the event will be given to the Philippine Disaster Recovery Foundation and Caritas Manila.

The 2002 Philippine Team-Selecta Ice Cream is one of the two teams which sponsored a national pool that played in the 2002 PBA Governors' Cup as part of the league's continued support to the Philippine men's national basketball team that will compete in the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea. A total of 30 players were picked and divided into two groups.

A brawl occurred between players of the Philippine and Australian men's national basketball teams during a match held on 2 July 2018 at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan, Philippines. The match was part of the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup Asian qualification process.

Gilas Pilipinas (originally known as Smart Gilas from 2010 to 2012) is the team consisting mostly of PBA players that serves as the Philippines men's national basketball team for elite level international tournaments since 2010. The team is under the aegis of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) and sponsored by Smart Communications. Gilas is the Tagalog word that loosely translates as "prowess". The all-amateur men's team is known as the Gilas Cadets (previously known from 2011 to 2014 as Sinag Pilipinas - sinag is the Tagalog word for "ray" (sunlight)), while the women's team is named Perlas Pilipinas (perlas is the Tagalog word for "pearl").

The men's national under-19 basketball team of the Philippines represents the country in junior men's under-18 and under-19 FIBA tournaments. It is governed by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas.

The national 3x3 team of the Philippines represents the country in international 3x3 basketball matches and is governed by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas.

The men's national under-17 basketball team of the Philippines represents the country in junior men's under-16 and under-17 FIBA tournaments and is governed by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas. The team is currently being handled by Michael Oliver.
