    The Jiaxing Power Station is a state-owned 5000 megawatt coal fired power station owned by Zhejiang Energy Group Co Ltd in Zhejiang. The $15.78 billion plant is situated in Jiaxing. With an installed capacity of 5,000 MW, it is the 9th largest coal-fired power station in the world. (It shares this title with the Guohua Taishan Power Station). The plant consists of two 300MW sub-critical units, four 600MW super-critical units and two 1000MW ultra-supercritical units, which combined form the 5000MW plant.

    The Gansu Dunhuang Solar Park is a 50-megawatt (MW) photovoltaic power station located in the Gansu Province, in China. All of the modules, which range from 230 to 240 watts, are mounted at a fixed tilt angle of 38°. It is located in the Photoelectricity Park of Dunhuang City. China's first solar power plant, 10 MW, was built here and commissioned on 30 September 2009. An additional 95 MW is expected in 2013, and 5,000 MW by 2020.

    The Ludila Dam(鲁地拉水电站 in Chinese) is a gravity dam on the Jinsha River near Lijiang in Yunnan province, China. The primary purpose of the dam is hydroelectric power generation and it will support a 2,160 MW power station. Construction on the dam began in 2007 and was briefly halted in June 2009 by the Ministry of Environmental Protection after it was being constructed without approval. On 13 June 2013 the dam's first generator became operational. In May 2014 reports surfaced that the dam and been damaged or was structurally unsound, forcing engineers to draw down the reservoir level and leaving the power station inoperable. An estimated 16,900 people were relocated after its construction.

    The Lijiaxia Dam (Chinese: 李家峡水库) is a concrete arch-gravity dam on the Yellow River in Jainca County, Qinghai Province, China. The dam houses a hydroelectric power station with 5 x 400 MW generators for a total installed capacity of 2,000 MW. Construction began in April 1988 and the reservoir began to fill on December 26, 1996. On January 26, 1997, the initial reservoir operating level was reached and the first generator was commissioned in February.

With an installed capacity of 5,000 MW, it is the 7th largest coal-fired power station in the world. (It shares this title with the Jiaxing, Guohua Taishan, and Waigaoqiao power stations). The station generates energy by five and two units, which is fuelled by coal.

    The Guandi Dam (simplified Chinese: 官地大坝; traditional Chinese: 官地大壩; pinyin: Guāndì Dàbà) is a gravity dam on the Yalong River, a tributary of the Yangtze River in Sichuan Province Southwest of China. It supplies water to four hydroelectric generators, each with generating capacity of 600 MW. The total generating capacity of the project is 2,400 MW. Construction started on October 20, 2010, with a ground-breaking ceremony. On February 9, 2012, the dam began to impound the reservoir and the last of the four generators were commissioned on 28 March 2013.
