Rita Corday (born Jeanne Paule Teipo-Ite-Marma Croset; October 20, 1920 – November 23, 1992) was an American actress. She appeared in 30 films during the 1940s and 1950s. She was sometimes billed as Paula Corday or Paule Croset.

Conrad Lafcadio Hall, ASC (June 21, 1926 – January 6, 2003) was a French Polynesian-born American cinematographer. Named after writers Joseph Conrad and Lafcadio Hearn, he was best known for photographing such films as In Cold Blood, Cool Hand Luke, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, American Beauty, and Road to Perdition. Hinarani de Longeaux (born 12 June 1990 in Tahiti, France) is a French model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned 2013 Miss France 1st runner-up. Hinarani later replaced Marine Lorphelin (The winner of Miss France) as France's represented at Miss Universe 2013.

Jocelyne LaGarde (1924 – 12 September 1979) was a Native Tahitian woman who became famous for her first and only acting role in the 1966 motion picture, Hawaii, for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Marama Vahirua (born 12 May 1980) is a retired Tahitian footballer who played as a striker. He spent most of his career in France before finishing his professional career in Greece with Panthrakikos F.C.. In July 2018, he became president of Tahitian club A.S. Dragon. Between 2013 and 2014, he was the technical director of the Tahitian Football Federation.

Florent Atem (born 24 November 1979) is a French Polynesian guitarist and academic who was the first Tahitian nominated for a Grammy Award. He is the son of educator Felix Atem and brother of academic and musician Carole Atem.
