    James Franklin "Jamie" Hyneman (born September 25, 1956) is an American special effects expert and the co-host of the television series MythBusters alongside Adam Savage. He is also the owner of M5 Industries, the special effects workshop where MythBusters is filmed. He is known among Robot Wars devotees for his robot entry, Blendo, which, for a time, was deemed too dangerous for entry in the competition. He is one of the designers of the aerial robotic camera system Wavecam, used in sports and entertainment events.

    Adam Crosswhite (1799–1878) was a formerly enslaved man who fled slavery along the Underground Railroad and settled in Marshall, Michigan. In 1847, slaveholders and slave catchers from Kentucky came to Michigan to retrieve African Americans and return them to slavery. Citizens of the town surrounded the Crosswhite's house and prevented them from being abducted. The Crosswhites fled to Canada and their former owner Francis Giltner filed a suit, Giltner vs. Gorham et. al., against residents of Marshall. Giltner won the case and was compensated for the loss of the Crosswhite family. After the Civil War, Crosswhite returned to Marshall, where he lived out the rest of his life.

    Cyrus Willard Cole (21 June 1876 – 29 July 1952) was a highly decorated United States Navy officer with the rank of rear admiral. While commandant of Portsmouth Navy Yard, Cole served as the officer in charge of the rescue and salvage operations of the sunken submarine Squalus, which accidentally sank off the Isle of Shoals while diving in testing trials on May 23, 1939.

He was one of the founders of the Republican party, an anti-slavery activist and a Major General and division commander in the Michigan Militia during the years immediately preceding the American Civil War. After the war he served as United States Ambassador to the Netherlands and Assistant Secretary of the Interior.

    Homer Howard "Pop" Hazel (June 2, 1895 – February 3, 1968) was an American football player and coach. He played college football at Rutgers University in 1916 and again from 1923 to 1924. Considered an outstanding punter, kicker, and passer, he was selected as a first-team All-American as an end in 1923 and as a fullback in 1924. He was the first player selected as an All-American at two different positions. He also lettered in baseball, basketball and track at Rutgers.
