Yohei Komatsu (小松 洋平, Komatsu Yōhei) (born June 25, 1988) is a Japanese professional wrestler signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he currently performs under the ring name Yoh (stylized in all capital letters).He has previously also worked for the American Ring of Honor (ROH) and Mexican Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), where he was known under the ring name Fujin (風神, Fūjin), named after the Japanese God of the wind, and was part of La Ola Amarilla ("the Yellow Wave") alongside Okumura, Kamaitachi and Raijin.

Kankurō Kudō (宮藤 官九郎, Kudō Kankurō, born July 19, 1970 in Miyagi Prefecture) is a Japanese screenwriter, dramatist, director, actor and member of the theater company Otona Keikaku. He won the 'Best Screenplay' award at the 2002 Japanese Academy Awards for Go, which explores problems faced by people of Korean-heritage living in Japan.

Eiko Kano (狩野 英孝, Kano Eikō, born 22 February 1982, in Kurikoma (now Kurihara), Kurihara District, Miyagi, Japan) is a Japanese comedian, singer, and kannushi. He is nicknamed Eiko-chan (英孝ちゃん, Eikō-chan) and Kati (カティ). As a lyricist and composer of 50TA, he is nicknamed Shinya Sakurada (桜田山神邪, Sakurada Shin'ya). He graduated from the Japan Institute of the Moving Image. He completed his kannushi training in Kokugakuin University. He was a former kyūdōka at the National Sports Festival of Japan.

Aki Mitsuhashi (三橋 亜記, Mitsuhashi Aki, born 12 September 1989) is a Japanese field hockey player born in Kurihara. At the 2012 Summer Olympics and 2016 Summer Olympics she competed with the Japan women's national field hockey team in the women's tournament.

Kōbōyama Daizō (born 15 August 1957 as Kōkichi Yomogida) is a former sumo wrestler from Tsukidate, Kurihara, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. He made his professional debut in 1973 and reached the top makuuchi division in 1981. His highest rank was sekiwake. He earned two special prizes for Technique and was a runner-up in one tournament. He retired in 1990. He is now a sumo coach and ran the Takashima stable from 1993 until 2011. He was elected to the Japan Sumo Association's board of directors in 2018.

Junji Izumida (泉田純; Izumida Jun; October 28, 1965 – January 25, 2017) was a Japanese professional wrestler who worked for Pro Wrestling Noah.
