    Yasin Sadiq (Uighur: ياسىن سادىق, Yasin Sadiq; Chinese: 牙生·司地克; pinyin: Yáshēng Sīdìkè; born June 1968) is a Chinese politician of Uyghur origin who has been the secretary-general of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People's Government since 27 May 2021. He previously served as mayor of Ürümqi, the capital of Xinjiang, from 2018 to 2021. He is a delegate to the 13th National People's Congress.

    Li Chengpeng (Chinese: 李承鹏; pinyin: Lǐ Chéngpéng) (born September 22, 1968) is a prominent writer and social critic in the People's Republic of China. Well known in China for his reportage and social commentary—Li's Sina Weibo blog had nearly six million followers — (it is offline now) Li made international headlines in 2011 when he announced that he would seek political office as an independent candidate in his hometown of Chengdu, Sichuan province. While not technically illegal, the decision represented a rare and bold move in a country where candidates for political office are typically appointed by the Communist Party of China.

    Zumret Obul (Uyghur: زۇمرەت ئوبۇل‎; Chinese: 祖木热提·吾布力; pinyin: Zǔmùrètí Wúbùlì; born May 1965) is a Chinese Uyghur politician who has served as chair of the Standing Committee of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Regional People's Congress since 2023 and as a member of the 13th National People's Congress. Prior to this, she worked in finance and in department stores, serving as manager of Minmao Department Store (1992–2001), before serving as mayor of Yengisar County (2008–2012) and Hami (2017–?) and in several local Chinese Communist Party (CCP) positions within her native Kashgar.
