Leo Paavali Jokela (24 January 1927 – 11 May 1975) was a Finnish actor. He is best remembered for his role as a detective Kokki in Matti Kassila's Komisario Palmu films and as a parrot G. Pula-aho in Spede Pasanen's radio programs.

Oskari Mantere (September 18, 1874 – December 9, 1942) was a Finnish politician from the National Progressive Party who served as Prime Minister of Finland from December 1928 to August 1929. He led a minority government.

Elmer Konstantin Niklander (19 January 1890 – 12 November 1942) was a Finnish athlete who competed in throwing events. Participating in four Olympic Games, he won the gold medal in the 1920 discus throw and three other medals.

Merja Kuusisto (born December 4, 1954 in Hausjärvi) is a Finnish politician. From 2007 to 2015 she was a member of the Parliament of Finland from the Uuismaa constituency. She lives in Tuusula and is a qualified specialist nurse. She and her husband, Päivön, have two daughters. Prior to her election to Parliament, Kuusisto was Chairwoman of the Tuusula municipal council, to which she was first elected in 1985, from 2001 to 2006. Kuusisto is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Finland.

Heikki Taavetti Aho (29 May 1895 – 27 April 1961) is viewed as a pioneer of Finnish documentary film. Aho worked with his half-brother Björn Soldan (1902–1953) through their film production company Aho & Soldan (1925–1961) the Finnish documentary film tradition was born. Aho & Soldan was founded in 1925 in Helsinki, largely to enable a visual image of Finland as a newly born nation, and was active until 1961.

Sirkka Aune-Marjatta Hämäläinen (born 8 May 1939 in Riihimäki) is a Finnish economist, former Governor of the Bank of Finland (1992–1998) and member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank (1998–2003).

Antti Pennanen (born 5 February 1979) is a Finnish former ice hockey player and current head coach for the Finland men's national junior ice hockey team. He previously served as the head coach for Jukurit and HPK in the Finnish Liiga.

Toivo Ahjopalo (2 June 1913 – 13 January 2000) was a Finnish sprinter. He competed in the men's 100 metres at the 1936 Summer Olympics.

Karl Gustaf Alexander (Alex) Alfthan (17 November 1865 - 3 July 1922) was a Finnish farmer, bank director and politician, born in Hausjärvi. He was a member of the Parliament of Finland in 1922, representing the National Coalition Party.
