Marcel Strauss (born August 25, 1976 in Feuerthalen) is a Swiss former professional road bicycle racer, last riding for UCI ProTeam Gerolsteiner. He retired in 2008, when that team folded.

Heinrich Sutermeister (12 August 1910, Feuerthalen – 16 March 1995, Vaux-sur-Morges) was a Swiss composer, most famous for his opera Romeo und Julia.

Othmar Hermann Ammann (March 26, 1879 – September 22, 1965) was a Swiss-American civil engineer whose bridge designs include the George Washington Bridge, Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, and Bayonne Bridge. He also directed the planning and construction of the Lincoln Tunnel.
