Halil Özşan (born 26 October 1976) is a Turkish Cypriot-born British actor, screenwriter and producer. As an actor he is best known for various series regular and recurring roles on shows such as, Jessica Jones, The Blacklist, Graceland, Impastor, 90210, Kyle XY and Dawson's Creek. As a screenwriter and producer he is best known as Co-Executive Producer and co-writer of the Viceland comedy What Would Diplo Do? starring James Van Der Beek.

Nikos Sampson (Greek: Νίκος Σαμψών; 16 December 1935 – 9 May 2001) was the de facto president of Cyprus who succeeded Archbishop Makarios, appointed as President of Cyprus by the Greek military leaders of the coup d'état against Makarios, on July 15, 1974. Sampson was a journalist and a member of EOKA, which rose against the British colonial administration, seeking Enosis (Union) of the island of Cyprus with Greece. He was eventually arrested and sentenced to death, but was imprisoned in Britain after the sentence was commuted, returning after Cyprus gained independence.

Danis Mahmut Mehmet Salman (Turkish: Danış Salman; born 12 March 1960), sometimes known as Danny Salman, is a Turkish Cypriot-born English former professional football defender and coach, best remembered for his time in the Football League with Brentford. He made over 380 appearances for the Bees, is the club's youngest-ever league debutant and was inducted into the club's Hall of Fame. He also played for Millwall, Plymouth Argyle and Torquay United.

Alexis Galanos (Greeκ: Αλέξης Γαλανός; 30 August 1940 – 15 July 2019) was a Greek Cypriot politician. He was President of the House of Representatives of Cyprus from 1991 to 1996. He studied Economics at King's College, Cambridge and Law at Inner Temple.

Touker Suleyman (born Türker Süleyman; 4 August 1953) is a British-Turkish Cypriot fashion retail entrepreneur, investor, and reality television personality. In 2001, his company Low Profile Group purchased UK shirt maker Hawes & Curtis, and in 2002 he purchased UK fashion label Ghost. Since then, he has invested in a number of start-up companies including Bikesoup and Huxley & Cox. Since 2015 he has been a dragon on Dragon's Den.

Müzeyyen Dilek Özbiler (born September 25, 1990) is a Turkish Cypriot women's football forward currently playing in the First League for İlkadım Belediyesi Yabancılar Pazarı Spor with jersey number 11. She is a member of the Turkey women's national team since 2014.

Xanthos Hadjisoteriou was an acclaimed Greek Cypriot painter and interior designer. Born in Famagusta in 1920 and studied business at University of Beirut (1938–1940). Later studied art at the Central School of Arts and Crafts in London (1951–1953) and interior design at the Byam Shaw School of Art (1959).
