Sudeepana Banakar Prabhudeva (born January 13, 1990), popularly known by her stage name Aditi Prabhudeva, is an Indian film actress who predominantly appears in Kannada cinema. She is the daughter of Prabhudeva.

Ranganath Vinay Kumar (born 12 February 1984) is a cricketer who has represented India at Test, One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 levels. He is a right-arm medium fast bowler who played domestic cricket for Karnataka and also in the Indian Premier League for Kolkata Knight Riders. He captained Karnataka to two consecutive Ranji Trophy titles in 2013–14 and 2014–15 seasons. In November 2018, he played in his 100th match in the Ranji Trophy. In August 2019, he moved from Karnataka to Puducherry, ahead of the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy season. During the first round of matches in the tournament, he took his 400th wicket in the Ranji Trophy.

S. A. Ravindranath (born November 26, 1946) is an Indian politician. Born in Shiramagondanahalli village of Davangere District, he represents the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Davangere North Constituency in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He is a senior Cabinet minister in the BJP government of Karnataka.

Talukina Ramachandrayya Subba Rao (1920–1984), popularly known as TaRaSu, was an Indian novelist and a scholar in the Kannada-language. He is considered as a harbinger of the Navya movement of Kannada literature. He is well known for his novels like Durgashtamana, which won him the Sahitya Akademi award posthumously in 1985.

A former Minister for youth Welfare and Sports in the Government of Karnataka. He is the son of Industrialist and Cabinet Minister Shamanuru Shivashankarappa.

Angel Mary Joseph (born 24 September 1953) is a retired Indian track and field athlete. She specialized in 100 metres hurdles, Long Jump, Pentathlon, and once held national records in all the three and high jump and heptathlon. At the 1978 Asian Games in Tehran, she won silver medals in long jump and pentathlon. She also represented Karnataka and Railways playing basketball in the National Championships.
