Vytautas Petrulis (born February 3, 1890 in Katelišės, near Vabalninkas; executed in 1942, near Uchta, RSFSR) was a Lithuanian politician, one of the main figures in the Lithuanian Christian Democratic Party, and an accountant. He is often nicknamed "the father of the Litas" as it was during his term as Minister of Finance that the Lithuanian litas was introduced.

Balys Sruoga (February 2, 1896, in Baibokai, Kovno Governorate – October 16, 1947, Vilnius) was a Lithuanian poet, playwright, critic, and literary theorist.

Adolfas Mekas (30 September 1925 – 31 May 2011) was a Lithuanian-born American filmmaker, writer, director, editor, actor and educator. With his brother Jonas Mekas, he founded the magazine Film Culture, as well as the Film-Makers' Cooperative and was associated with George Maciunas and the Fluxus art movement at its beginning. He made several short films, culminating in the feature Hallelujah the Hills in 1963, which was played at the Cannes Film Festival of that year and is now considered a classic of American film.

Julius Vytautas Briedis (27 August 1940 – 22 September 2019) was a Lithuanian rower who specialized in the eight. In this boat class he won three silver medals at the European and world championships of 1962–1964 and finished fifth and third at the 1964 and 1968 Summer Olympics, respectively.

Ernestas Galvanauskas (November 20, 1882 – July 24, 1967) was a Lithuanian engineer, politician and one of the founders of the Peasant Union (which later merged with the Lithuanian Popular Peasants' Union). He also served twice as Prime Minister of Lithuania.

Emilis Šlekys (6 August 1951 – 30 October 2012) was a Lithuanian chess player who holds the titles of ICCF International Master (IM). He was winner of Lithuanian Chess Championship (1985).

Alfonsas Petrulis pronunciation (1873-1928) was a Lithuanian Roman Catholic priest and journalist, and one of the twenty signatories to the Act of Independence of Lithuania.

Jonas Kondrotas (15 August 1943 – 28 January 2022) was a Lithuanian agronomist and politician, member of the 10th (2011–2012) and 11th (2012–2016) Seimas, member of the Labour Party.
