Second Family is the second full length album by the Long Island pop-punk band Patent Pending. It was released on July 12, 2011 while the band was on the 2011 Vans Warped Tour, but due to a formatting issue the album was not released to online retailers until July 27, 2012. "Second Family" was recorded with the help of Patent Pending's fans with all the money raised in a Kickstarter after the bands funds had diminished. [1]

Save Each Other, the Whales Are Doing Fine is the debut studio album by American rock band Patent Pending. The original name of the CD was Save The Children, The Whales Are Doing Fine, but it was changed due to a threat to sue by the Save the Children Foundation. The title reflects the environmental concept of save the whales. Because the band didn't have the budget to fight their case in court, they were forced to change the name. Because of the changing of the name, and a few other minor legal and technical issues, the CD/DVD was pushed back one month. It came out on June 6, instead of May 9.

I'm Not Alone is an EP by American rock band Patent Pending. It was released on September 21, 2010. It spawned two music videos for the song "One Less Heart to Break", which is an anti-suicide rock song, and for "Dance 'Til We Die", a song that has been described by lead singer, Joe Ragosta, as Being about "...zombies eating peoples brains". Both of those songs were later re-used as bonus tracks on the band's next album, Second Family.
