Noor Jehan (born Allah Wasai; 21 September 1926 – 23 December 2000; sometimes spelled Noorjehan), also known by her honorific title Malika-e-Tarannum (the queen of melody), was a Pakistani playback singer and actress who worked first in British India and then in the cinema of Pakistan. Her career spanned more than six decades (the 1930s–1990s). She was renowned as one of the greatest and most influential singers of all time especially throughout South Asia and was given the honorific title of Malika-e-Tarannum in Pakistan. She had a command of Hindustani classical music as well as other music genres.

Reshma (Urdu: ریشماں‎; c.1947 – 3 November 2013), was a Pakistani folk singer. Awarded with Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Star of Distinction), the third highest honour and civilian award in Pakistan among other honours, she is remembered for folk songs and her powerful singing voice.

Farida Khanum HI PP (Urdu/Punjabi: فرِیدہ خانُم ) is a Pakistani classical singer from the province of Punjab.

Naheed Akhtar (also spelled Nahid Akhtar) is a Pakistani playback singer. Her career began in 1970 when she sang a duet with Khalid Asghar in "Raag Malhar" at Radio Pakistan Multan. Akhtar was born in Multan, Punjab.

Naveen Waqar is a Pakistani television actress and former video and radio jockey. She is best known for her negative role as Sara in 2012 series Humsafar. Her television appearances includes a series of acclaim projects including Annie Ki Ayegi Baraat, Uff Meri Family, Alvida, Mol, Saya-e-Deewar Bhi Nahi, Kuch Na Kaho, Be Inteha, Tajdeed-e-Wafa and Mah-e-Tamaam. She made her film debut in 2013 with social-drama film Josh: Independence Through Unity, which was a critical and commercial success.

Nayyara Noor (Urdu: نیرہ نور) (3 November 1950 – 21 August 2022) was a Pakistani playback singer, considered one of subcontinent's popular singers. She performed in the live ghazal singing concerts on Pakistan television shows or in concert halls in the country.

Tamanna Begum (1944 – 20 February 2012) was a Pakistani film and television actress.

Zeenat Begum (born Shamim Akhtar; 11 November 1931 – 11 December 2007), sometimes known as Zeenat, was an Indian-Pakistani singer.

Raees Warsi (Urdu: رئیس وارثی ‎, born 1 March 1963, Alternately Spelled Raies Warsi) is a Pakistani American Urdu poet, journalist, lyricist, TV anchor and social worker. He has blended contemporary issues into classic rhyme. Where Urdu poetry was confined to the issues of love, romance and its tragedies till the early 20th century, Warsi and some other notable contemporary poetry have expanded Urdu poetry to the demands of modern realism while still maintaining the classic rhyme. He currently resides in the United States.

Khalid Abbas Dar (born 1942 )is an actor, playwright, director, theatre producer, entertainer, mimic, one-man show and a television host in Pakistan.
