Noor Jehan (born Allah Wasai; 21 September 1926 – 23 December 2000; sometimes spelled Noorjehan), also known by her honorific title Malika-e-Tarannum (the queen of melody), was a Pakistani playback singer and actress who worked first in British India and then in the cinema of Pakistan. Her career spanned more than six decades (the 1930s–1990s). She was renowned as one of the greatest and most influential singers of all time especially throughout South Asia and was given the honorific title of Malika-e-Tarannum in Pakistan. She had a command of Hindustani classical music as well as other music genres.

Badar Munir (1940 – 11 October 2008) was a Pakistani film actor. Originally from Madyan in the state of Swat, he starred in over 732 Pashto, Urdu and Punjabi language films from 1968 to 2008.

Waheed Murad (Urdu: وحید مراد‎; 2 October 1938 – 23 November 1983), also known as Chocolate Hero, was a Pakistani film actor, producer and script writer. Famous for his charming expressions, attractive personality, tender voice and unusual talent for acting, Waheed is considered as one of the most famous and influential actors of South Asia and has influenced the film industry in the subcontinent.

Sajjad Ali (born 1966) is a Pakistani semi-classical, pop and rock singer, poet, actor, film director as well as a film producer from Karachi, Pakistan.

Parveen Rizvi, better known as Sangeeta, (Urdu: سنگیتا‎; born 14 June 1947) is a Pakistani film actress, filmmaker and director of television drama serials.

He is considered as the highest-paid film star in Pakistan.

Reema Khan (Urdu: ریما خان‎), known mononymously as Reema, is a Pakistani television host and former stage dancer, Lollywood film actress, director and producer. Khan was one of the leading film actresses in Pakistan during 1990s. She has appeared in more than 200 films since making her debut in 1990 and has been recognised by Pakistan and Indian film critics for her acting. She received the Pride of Performance Award on 23 March 2019 for her contributions to Pakistani Cinema.

Jamil Dehlavi (Urdu: جمیل دہلوی‎) (born 1944) is a London-based independent film director and producer of Pakistani-French origin. Since he became a filmmaker in the 1970s, his work has been widely screened internationally, notable films including Jinnah (1998), about the partition of India and the birth of Pakistan, which won the Grand Prize at the Festival of the Dhow Countries, Best International Film at the World Film Awards in Indonesia, the Gold Award at Worldfest Flagstaff, Best Foreign Film at Worldfest Houston, and was nominated for a Golden Pyramid at the Cairo International Film Festival.

Sarmad Sultan Khoosat (born May 7, 1979) is a Pakistani actor, film/TV director, producer and screenwriter best known for directing the TV dramas Humsafar and Shehr-e-Zaat.

Shamim Ara (22 March 1938 – 5 August 2016) was a Pakistani film actress, director and producer. She was one of the most popular actresses of her time and was one of the most successful actresses of the 1960s and 1970s. She is regarded as one of the most influential actresses of all time in Pakistani cinema.
