Olympic snowboarders for Japan

Raibu Katayama (片山 來夢, Katayama Raibu, born 4 May 1995) is a Japanese snowboarder who competed in the men's halfpipe at the 2018 Winter Olympics. He finished 7th overall.

Ayumu Hirano (平野 歩夢, Hirano Ayumu, born 29 November 1998) is a Japanese Olympic champion and three-time Olympic medalist snowboarder and Olympic skateboarder. He won the silver medal in the superpipe in 2013 Winter X Games XVII at the age of 14, becoming the youngest medalist in X Games history, and won silver medals in the half-pipe at both the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang and the gold medal at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. He also competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo as a skateboarder, becoming the only athlete, who participated in all of the three consecutive Olympic Games in East Asia between 2018 and 2022.

Yūto Totsuka (戸塚優斗, Totsuka Yūto, born 27 September 2001) is a Japanese snowboarder who competed in the men's halfpipe at the 2018 Winter Olympics. He finished 11th overall. He fell during the final, hitting the edge of the halfpipe and injuring his hip, and had to be evacuated by medics.

Melo Imai (今井 メロ, 今井 夢露, Imai Mero, born 26 October 1987 in Suminoe-ku, Osaka) is a Japanese TV personality and half-pipe snowboarder. Her maiden name is Narita (成田).

Tomoka Takeuchi (竹内 智香, Takeuchi Tomoka, born 21 December 1983) is a Japanese competitive snowboarder from Asahikawa, Hokkaido. She won the silver medal in the Ladies' Parallel Giant Slalom in 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

Takeru Otsuka (大塚 たける, Ōtsuka Takeru, born 2 April 2001) is a Japanese snowboarder. He won the freestyle overall and big air at the 2018–19 FIS Snowboard World Cup and the gold medal in the big air event at the Norway 2018 and 2019 editions of the Winter X Games.

Kurumi Imai (今井 胡桃, Imai Kurumi, born 24 September 1999) is a Japanese snowboarder. She competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Haruna Matsumoto (松本 遥奈, Matsumoto Haruna, born 26 July 1993) is a Japanese snowboarder. She competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Reira Iwabuchi (born 14 December 2001) is a Japanese snowboarder. She won a silver medal in big air at Winter X Games XXII.

Kazuhiro Kokubo (國母 和宏, Kokubo Kazuhiro, born August 16, 1988) is a Japanese snowboarder who has won multiple medals in international events, including consecutive golds in US Open Halfpipe in 2010 and 2011. He competed at the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics and 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, representing Japan.
