Olympic medalists for Azerbaijan

Sabah Shariati (Persian: صباح شریعتی‎, Azerbaijani: Sabah Şəriəti; born in Sanandaj, Kurdistan province, Iran) is an Iranian-born naturalized Azerbaijani wrestler competing in the 2016 Summer Olympics. He won bronze medal of Rio Olympics in presence of the bests of 130 kg Greco Roman style such as Lopez from Cuba and Riza Kayaalp from Turkey.

Mahommedrasul Majidov (Azerbaijani: Məhəmmədrəsul Məcidov) (born 27 September 1986) is an Azerbaijani professional boxer. As an amateur he won a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics and gold at the 2011, 2013 and 2017 World Championships, all in the super heavyweight division.

Patimat Abakarova (born 23 October 1994) is a Dagestani-born Azerbaijani taekwondo athlete.

Milad Beigi Harchegani (Persian: میلاد بیگی هرچگانی‎, Azerbaijani: Milad Beygi Hərçigani; born 1 March 1991 in Booshehr) is an Iranian-born naturalized Azerbaijani taekwondo practitioner who won a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Harchegani is of Qashqai ancestry.

Lorenzo Sotomayor Collazo (born 16 February 1985) is a Cuban-born Azerbaijani light-welterweight boxer who won a silver medal at the 2016 Olympics. He is a nephew of the high jumper Javier Sotomayor. In 2013 he moved from Cuba to Azerbaijan to increase his chances for Olympic selection. He chose to compete as Collazo, which means "shining star".

Kamran Shakhsuvarly (Azerbaijani: Kamran Şahsuvarlı; born 6 December 1992) is an Azerbaijani boxer. He competed in the men's middleweight event at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Radik Isayev (born September 26, 1989 in Ukhul, Akhtynsky District, Dagestan) is a Russian-born naturalized Azerbaijani taekwondo practitioner of Lezgin origin. He won the gold medal at the 2014 European Championships Men's 87 kg, also he won bronze in 2013 World Championships. Radik also won a gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics held in Rio.

Rasul Abakar oghlu Chunayev (Azerbaijani: Rəsul Çunayev) is an Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler. He was born 7 January 1991 in Yeni Şərif, Balakən, Azerbaijan, to Avar parents. He is a world champion and European vice-champion in men's Greco-Roman wrestling.

Haji Aliyev (Azerbaijani: Hacı Azər oğlu Əliyev; born 21 April 1991, in Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan SSR) is an Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler. He competed at the 61 kg division in the 2014 European Wrestling Championships and won the gold medal after beating Bekkhan Goygereyev of Russia.

Natalya Ihorivna Synyshyn (Ukrainian: Наталя Ігорівна Синишин; born 3 July 1985) is an amateur Ukrainian (until 2013) and Azerbaijani (since 2014) freestyle wrestler, who played for the lightweight division. She is a two-time bronze medalist at the World Championships, and three-time at the European Championships.
