    Dina Thanthi (Tamil: தினத்தந்தி, English: Daily Mail; known as Daily Thanthi in English) is a Tamil language daily newspaper. It was founded by S. P. Adithanar in Madurai in 1942. Dina Thanthi is India's largest daily printed in the Tamil language and the ninth largest among all dailies in India by circulation. It is printed in 16 cities across India and also prints an international edition in Dubai and Sri Lanka. The Daily Thanthi group has ventured into the general entertainment sector with the launch of its new channel, Thanthi One, on 19 May 2024.

    The Chunichi Shimbun (中日新聞, Chūnichi Shinbun, Central Japan News) is a Japanese daily "broadsheet" newspaper published in mostly Aichi Prefecture and neighboring regions by Chunichi Shimbun Co., Ltd. Based in Nagoya, one of Japanese three major metropolitan areas, it boasts the third circulation after the group newspapers the Yomiuri Shimbun and The Asahi Shimbun. Even the Chunichi Shimbun alone exceeds the number of copies of the Sankei Shimbun. The newspaper is dominant in its region, with a market penetration approaching 60 percent of the population of Aichi Prefecture. The Chunichi Shimbun group also publishes the Tokyo Shimbun, the Chunichi Sports, and the Tokyo Chunichi Sports newspapers. While each newspaper maintains independent leadership and is considered a "separate" paper, the group's combined circulation in 2022 was 2,321,414, ranking third in Japan behind the Yomiuri Shimbun and the Asahi Shimbun.

    Kubaner Idish Wort (Yiddish: קובאנער אידיש װארט, 'Cuban Jewish Word') was a communist Yiddish-language newspaper published from Havana, Cuba 1942–1950. In the beginning it was a semi-monthly, whilst as of the late 1940s it was published semi-weekly. Kubaner Idish Wort was published by the communist-oriented Folks-tzenter ('People's Centre'). It was initially edited by Ch. Novomodny, and at a later stage by M. Epstein.

    Rahbar (Persian: رهبر, 'Guide') was an Iranian Persian language daily newspaper, published from Tehran. It was the central organ of the communist Tudeh Party of Iran. The decision to launch Rahbar was taken at the First Party Conference held in October 1942, after that Abbas Iskandari, the editor of the erstwhile central organ of the party Siasat, had been expelled from the party.
