New Zealand rugby league players

Sonny Bill Williams (born 3 August 1985) is a New Zealand heavyweight boxer, and a former professional rugby league and rugby union player. He is only the second person to represent New Zealand in rugby union after first playing for the country in rugby league, and is one of only 21 players to have won the Rugby World Cup twice.

Matthew John Ridge (born 27 August 1968) is a New Zealand television presenter, and a former rugby union and rugby league footballer.

Denny Solomona (born 27 September 1993) is a rugby footballer who plays rugby union as a winger for the Sale Sharks in the Aviva Premiership and England at international level. He previously played rugby league as a winger for the Melbourne Storm Under-20s, London Broncos and the Castleford Tigers. He played for Samoa at international rugby league.

Ben Te'o (born 27 January 1987) is a former professional rugby union and rugby league footballer who last played as a second-rower for the Brisbane Broncos in the NRL and is currently an assistant coach at the Broncos.

Marc Christopher Gwynne Ellis (born 8 October 1971) is a New Zealand businessman, television presenter, and former rugby union and rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. A graduate of the University of Otago, his primary business interests are in Charlie's, a juice company. During the 1995 Rugby World Cup he scored six tries in the game against Japan, which is the record for the most tries by an individual in a Rugby World Cup match.

Montgomery Junior "Monty" Betham (born 12 March 1978) is a professional boxer, and former professional rugby league footballer. A New Zealand international representative hooker and lock, he played club football for the New Zealand Warriors in the National Rugby League, and for the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats (captain) (Heritage № 1234) in the Super League.

Jonathan Ionatana Falefasa "Tana" Umaga ONZM (born 27 May 1973) is a New Zealand former rugby union footballer and former captain of the national team, the All Blacks. Since 2016 he has been coach of the Blues in the Super Rugby competition.

Brad Abbey (born 30 December 1996) is a New Zealand professional rugby league footballer who last played as a fullback for the Canberra Raiders in the NRL.

Christopher Nahi (born 11 September 1973) is a former professional rugby league footballer. He has played representative rugby league for both the New Zealand Māori team and the Rest of the World side.

James Richard "Richie" Blackmore (born 2 July 1969) is a rugby league coach, and former professional footballer who represented New Zealand. His position of preference was as a centre.
