New Jersey Nets

Avery DeWitt Johnson (born March 25, 1965) is an American basketball coach who most recently served as head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide men's basketball team.

The Brooklyn Nets are an American professional basketball team based in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. The Nets compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. The team plays its home games at Barclays Center. They are one of two NBA teams located in New York City; the other is the New York Knicks.

Roy Lars Magnus Boe (September 14, 1929 – June 7, 2009) was an owner of the New Jersey Nets, New York Islanders, and several other professional sports teams.

Yankee Global Enterprises, LLC, formerly YankeeNets, LLC, is an American company which owns the New York Yankees baseball team, along with a majority stake in YES Network and a 20% stake in New York City FC soccer team. It was formed in 1999 and is controlled by the family of George Steinbrenner. Other investors including Lester Crown, Donald Marron and Jerry Speyer own minority stakes.

Meadowlands Arena (formerly Brendan Byrne Arena, Continental Airlines Arena and IZOD Center) is an indoor venue located in the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, United States. The arena is located on New Jersey Route 120 and is across the highway from MetLife Stadium and the Meadowlands Racetrack. A covered footbridge connects one of MetLife Stadium's parking lots with the Meadowlands Arena's lot.

Sergey Kushchenko (Russian: Сергей Валентинович Кущенко; born on May 27, 1961 in Novye Lyady, Perm Russia) is the Executive Director of the Russian Biathlon Union, the first vice-president of the International Biathlon Union, and the member of the Board of directors for the Brooklyn Nets.

Rick Zolzer is an American former public address announcer for the New Jersey Nets of the National Basketball Association. After three seasons of serving as Continental Airlines Arena voice for the Nets, he was fired in June of 2004. During his 3 seasons as public address announcer for the Nets, New Jersey won back-to-back Eastern Conference titles in 2002 & 2003, as well as reaching the second round of the NBA Playoffs in 2004. Zolzer is the current public address voice for baseball's Hudson Valley Renegades, a position he held during the late 1990s until he was fired for a public outburst against the umpire. To date, he is the only known PA announcer in affiliated baseball to have been ejected from a game by the umpire crew. He is also the PA announcer for the United States Military Academy's Michie Stadium for Army's five home games in 2007. Rick Zolzer is currently in negotiations with Army to return next season. He is also currently the Executive Director of the Renegades Pitch for Kids Fund and a huge fan of Earth, Wind, & Fire..

The Atlantic Division is one of the three divisions in the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The division consists of five teams, the Boston Celtics, the Brooklyn Nets, the New York Knicks, the Philadelphia 76ers and the Toronto Raptors. All teams, except the Raptors, are located on the East Coast of the United States. However, Toronto sports teams have over the years enjoyed rivalries with teams in the Northeastern United States (particularly, Toronto teams also share divisions with Boston and New York teams in Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League.

The Rutgers Athletic Center, more commonly known as the RAC, is an 8,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Piscataway, New Jersey on Rutgers University's Livingston Campus. The building is shaped like a truncated tent with trapezoidal sides on the north and south ends. It is home to the men's and women's Rutgers Scarlet Knights basketball teams as well as the wrestling and gymnastic teams. Previously, the University used the 3,200-seat College Avenue Gym from 1931 to 1977.

Teaneck Armory at 1799 Teaneck Road is an armory and arena located on a 13.66-acre (55,300 m) site in Teaneck, New Jersey. A facility of the New Jersey National Guard, it is home to the Soccer Coliseum.
