    The Lordship of Ruppin was a feudal lordship of the Holy Roman Empire centered around the town of Neuruppin. The Lords of Ruppin held up residence in Castle Ruppin [de] since 1240. The lordship was under the rule of the Lindow-Ruppin [de] family from about 1214 until 1524 before being annexed by the Margraviate of Brandenburg.

The car has two seats, with the passenger sitting behind the driver. It is built using carbon fibre and costs between 48,000 and 58,000 euros including taxes in Germany The manufacturer has a limited production of the vehicle to 100 cars. The car consumed 2.8l of diesel per 100 kilometers (82miles per US gallon) during an official TÜV test. Top speed for the car is 160 km/h (100mp/hr). The driver's seat looks similar to a cockpit, which may be the reason for the car's name. The engine is the diesel engine from a Smart (car).

    Neuruppin (North Brandenburgisch: Reppin) is a town in Brandenburg, Germany, the administrative seat of Ostprignitz-Ruppin district. It is the birthplace of the novelist Theodor Fontane (1819–1898) and therefore also referred to as Fontanestadt. A garrison town since 1688 and largely rebuilt in a Neoclassical style after a devastating fire in 1787, Neuruppin has the reputation of being "the most Prussian of all Prussian towns".
