National members of FIBA Asia

The Maldives Basketball Association, more popularly known as the MBA, was founded on the 12 August 1991. Since its inception, MBA has been actively involved in developing basketball in the Maldives.

The Sri Lanka Basketball Federation is the governing body of basketball in Sri Lanka. It is associated with FIBA and FIBA Asia, as well as the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka.

Basketball Federation of India (BFI) is the governing and controlling body of basketball in India. It is responsible for the development and promotion of the sports authority of India at all levels. BFI manages all the national-level basketball operations in India and sports authority of India is also undertaking basketball federation of India. It is involved in organizing training camps and national tournaments, and in preparing Indian teams for both men's and women's international competitions in various age categories. The national team of India is also known as the ′Young Cagers′.

The Korea Basketball Association (KBA; Korean: 대한농구협회) is the governing body of basketball in South Korea. Formed in 1925, it is based in Seoul. The KBA is a member of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and FIBA Asia. The current president of the federation is Pang Yul.

The Basketball Association of the Philippines (BAP) was the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) recognized national governing body for basketball in the Philippines. It was recognized by the FIBA in 1936 until 2007 when the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas or SBP was recognized as the new governing body of basketball in the country.

The United Arab Emirates Basketball Association (Arabic: اتحاد الإمارات العربية المتحدة لكرة السلة‎, Itihad el-Emarat al-arabya al-mutahidah li kurat a'selah) is the governing body of basketball in United Arab Emirates.

The Saudi Arabian Basketball Federation (Arabic: الاتحاد العربي السعودي لكرة السلة‎) is the governing body of basketball in Saudi Arabia.

The Qatar Basketball Federation (Arabic: الاتحاد القطري لكرة السلة‎) is the governing body of basketball in Qatar.

The Oman Basketball Association (Arabic: الاتحاد العماني لكرة السلة‎) is the governing body of basketball in Oman.

The Chinese Taipei Basketball Association (CTBA; Chinese: 中華臺北籃球協會) is the governing body of basketball in Taiwan. Its official name in Chinese is Republic of China Basketball Association (Chinese: 中華民國籃球協會). The CTBA is a member of FIBA and FIBA Asia.
