Young Lady Chatterley is an American 1977 softcore pornographic film directed by Alan Roberts and starring Harlee McBride, Peter Ratray, and Lawrence Montaigne. The film was followed by a sequel in 1985, Young Lady Chatterley II.

Scarface is a 1983 American crime drama film directed by Brian De Palma and written by Oliver Stone. The remake of the 1932 film, it tells the story of Cuban refugee Tony Montana (Al Pacino), who arrives penniless in 1980s Miami but would go on to become a powerful drug lord. The film co-stars Steven Bauer, Michelle Pfeiffer, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Robert Loggia. De Palma dedicated this version of Scarface to the memories of Howard Hawks and Ben Hecht, the writers of the original.

A Clockwork Orange is a 1971 dystopian crime film adapted, produced, and directed by Stanley Kubrick, based on Anthony Burgess's 1962 novel of the same name. It employs disturbing, violent images to comment on psychiatry, juvenile delinquency, youth gangs, and other social, political, and economic subjects in a dystopian near-future Britain.

Supervixens is a 1975 American film directed by American filmmaker Russ Meyer. The cast features Meyer regulars Charles Napier, Uschi Digard, and Haji. The film also features Shari Eubank (in a dual role) in one of her only two film roles and Christy Hartburg in her only film role.

In the Realm of the Senses (French: L'Empire des sens, Japanese: 愛のコリーダ, Ai no korīda, "Bullfight of Love") is a 1976 pornographic art film written and directed by Nagisa Ōshima. It is a fictionalised and sexually explicit treatment of an incident from 1930s Japan, that of Sada Abe. An international co-production of France and Japan, the film generated great controversy during its release; while intended for mainstream wide release, it contains scenes of unsimulated sexual activity between the actors (Tatsuya Fuji and Eiko Matsuda, among others).

Fast Times at Ridgemont High is a 1982 American coming-of-age comedy-drama film directed by Amy Heckerling and written by Cameron Crowe adapted from his 1981 book Fast Times at Ridgemont High: A True Story. Crowe went undercover at Clairemont High School in San Diego and wrote about his experiences.
