Norman Mack Van Brocklin (March 15, 1926 – May 2, 1983), nicknamed "The Dutchman", was an American football quarterback and coach who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons. He spent his first nine seasons with the Los Angeles Rams and was a member of the Philadelphia Eagles during his final three. Following his playing career, he was the inaugural head coach of the Minnesota Vikings from 1961 to 1966 and the second head coach of the Atlanta Falcons from 1968 to 1974.

Michael Peter Tice (born February 2, 1959) is currently the Offensive Line coach for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League. He was formerly the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings from 2002 to 2005. He was also formerly the offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears.

Harry Peter "Bud" Grant Jr. (May 20, 1927 – March 11, 2023) was an American football player and head coach, and a player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Grant served as the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL) for 18 seasons; he was the team's second (1967–83) and fourth (1985) head coach, leading them to four Super Bowl appearances, 11 division titles, one league championship and three National Football Conference championships. Before coaching the Vikings, he was the head coach of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL) for ten seasons, winning the Grey Cup four times. Grant is the most successful coach in Vikings history, and the fifth most successful professional football coach overall with a combined 286 wins in the NFL and CFL. Grant was elected to the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1983 and to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1994. He was the first coach to guide teams to the Grey Cup and the Super Bowl, the only other being Marv Levy.

The Minnesota Vikings are a professional American football team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Vikings joined the National Football League (NFL) as an expansion team in 1960, and first took the field for the 1961 season. The team competes in the National Football Conference (NFC) North division.

Les Steckel (born July 1, 1946) was the 3rd head coach of the Minnesota Vikings in 1984. He has also worked as an assistant coach with the San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans, Buffalo Bills and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Leslie Antonio Frazier (born April 3, 1959) is an American football coach and former cornerback. He is the current defensive coordinator of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. He served as the 8th head coach of the Minnesota Vikings from 2011 to 2013.

Dennis Earl Green (February 17, 1949 – July 21, 2016) was an American football coach. During his National Football League (NFL) career, Green coached the Minnesota Vikings for 10 seasons. He coached the Vikings to eight playoff appearances in nine years, despite having seven different starting quarterbacks in those postseasons. He was posthumously inducted into the Minnesota Vikings Ring of Honor in 2018.

Michael Zimmer (born June 5, 1956) is an American football coach who is the head coach for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as defensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals, Atlanta Falcons, and Dallas Cowboys.

Jerome Monahan Burns (January 24, 1927 – May 12, 2021) was an American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of Iowa, from 1961 to 1965, compiling record of 16–27–2, and for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL) from 1986 to 1991, tallying a mark of 52–43 in the regular season, and 3–3 in the postseason.

Brad Childress (born June 27, 1956) is a former head coach of the Minnesota Vikings. He attended high school at the Marmion Academy in Aurora, Illinois. Childress has worked for over thirty years as a coach for various college programs and NFL franchises. He is currently a senior offensive assistant for the Kansas City Chiefs.
