Military academies of Nepal

The Nepalese Military Academy is a training institute for future officers of the Nepalese Army located at Kharipati, Bhaktapur. The mission statement of the academy is to "commission proficient platoon commanders, who are professionally capable of fulfilling their assigned responsibilities skilfully with vigour". It was founded on December 26, 1986.

Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya Teghari Kailali (SAMT) is a school run under the Nepalese Army Welfare Fund. It is located in the Kailali district of Western Nepal. The present principal is Siddheshwar Pant (Prakash). The present liaison officer is Major Prebesh Dahal . It is the far western development region of Nepal. The school was established on 10 Chaitra 2068 BS by Commander in Chief Chhatraman Singh Gurung.

Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya is a military boarding high school in Nepal, established in 1986. The school was formerly known as Birendra Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya and Suping Campus. The school is located in Sallaghari, Bhaktapur. It was established in 1986 in Sallaghari, Bhaktapur. Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya is a military boarding school with civilian students, offering classes from 6th grade through undergraduate level, including a Bachelor of Science degree; the school also provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls and has branch schools in several cities across Nepal.
