Carlos Saúl Menem (2 July 1930 – 14 February 2021) was an Argentine lawyer and politician who served as the 44th president of Argentina from 1989 to 1999. He was also a Senator for La Rioja Province from 2005 until his death. Ideologically, he identified as a Peronist and supported economically liberal policies. He served as President of the Justicialist Party for thirteen years, and his political approach became known as Menemism.

Cristina Elisabet Fernández de Kirchner ( born 19 February 1953), often referred to by her initials CFK, is an Argentine lawyer and politician who has served as the Vice President of Argentina since 2019. She also previously served as the 51st President of Argentina from 2007 to 2015 and the first lady during the tenure of her husband, Néstor Kirchner. She was the third woman to hold the Argentine vice presidency, the second woman to hold the presidency, the first directly elected female president, and the first woman re-elected to the office. Ideologically, she identifies herself as a Peronist and a social democrat on the Argentine center-left, with her political approach called Kirchnerism.

Alberto José Rodriguez Saá (born August 21, 1949) is an Argentine lawyer and politician. He is the Governor of San Luis Province. He was presidential candidate for the center-right peronism, Federal Peronism, in 2007 and 2011.

Claudia Alejandra Ledesma Abdala de Zamora (born 14 September 1974) is an Argentine politician of the Civic Front for Santiago (Frente Cívico por Santiago), allied to the Front for Victory. She was elected Governor of Santiago del Estero Province in 2013, succeeding her husband, Gerardo Zamora, currently Provisional President of Argentine Senate.

Enzo Bordabehere (25 September 1889 – 23 July 1935) was an Argentine lawyer and politician. He was a National Senator for Santa Fe Province, and was assassinated in Congress during a session in the Argentine Senate.

Fernando de la Rúa (15 September 1937 – 9 July 2019) was an Argentine politician of the Radical Civic Union (UCR) who served as President of Argentina from 10 December 1999 to 21 December 2001. De la Rúa was born in Córdoba; he entered politics after graduating with a degree in law. He was elected senator in 1973 and unsuccessfully ran for the office of Vice President as Ricardo Balbín's running mate the same year. He was re-elected senator in 1983 and 1993, and as deputy in 1991. He unsuccessfully opposed the pact of Olivos between President Carlos Menem and party leader Raúl Alfonsín, which enabled the 1994 amendment of the Argentine Constitution and the re-election of Menem in 1995.

Fernando Ezequiel 'Pino' Solanas (16 February 1936 – 6 November 2020) was an Argentine film director, screenwriter, and politician. His films include; La hora de los hornos (The Hour of the Furnaces) (1968), Tangos: el exilio de Gardel (1985), Sur (1988), El viaje (1992), La nube (1998) and Memoria del saqueo (2004), among many others. He was National Senator representing the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires for six years, from 2013 to 2019.

Juana Larrauri de Abramí, also known as Juanita Larrauri (12 March 1910 – 21 February 1990) was a tango singer and was among a group of the first women elected to the Argentine Senate. She was elected twice as a senator and in both cases lost her seat as a result of right-wing military coups; she was elected in 1951 and lost her seat in 1955, then was elected again in 1973 and lost her seat again in 1976.

Rosana Andrea Bertone (born May 9, 1972, San Salvador, Entre Ríos) is an Argentine politician and the former Governor of Tierra del Fuego Province, serving from 2015 to 2019.
