Spotify is a Swedish audio streaming and media service provider founded on 23 April 2006 by Daniel Ek and Martin Lorentzon. As of September 2024, it is one of the largest providers of music streaming services, with over 640 million monthly active users comprising 252 million paying subscribers. Spotify is listed (through a Luxembourg City-domiciled holding company, Spotify Technology S.A.) on the New York Stock Exchange in the form of American depositary receipts.

Endemol Shine Nordics (formerly Metronome Film & Television and Shine Nordics) is a Nordic media company specializing in film and television production. In 2009, it was bought by the British company Shine Group for £60 million (SEK 764m), which was in turn sold to the American News Corporation.

Bonnier AB, also the Bonnier Group, is a privately held Swedish media group of 175 companies operating in 15 countries. It is controlled by the Bonnier family.

C More Entertainment AB was a pay television company that previously operated as Canal+. It targeted Nordic countries and had a separate channel in Sweden (C More Film).

TV4 AB (formerly Nordisk Television AB; previously traded as TV4-gruppen) is a Swedish media company owned by Telia Company through TV4 Media (formerly known as Bonnier Broadcasting). The company owns the largest commercial television channel in Sweden, TV4.

TV4 Media AB (formerly Bonnier Broadcasting AB) is a Swedish media holding company which is currently a part of the Swedish telecommunications company Telia Company, having acquired it from Swedish multimedia conglomerate Bonnier Group. The company owns Swedish commercial broadcaster TV4 AB, Finnish commercial broadcaster MTV Oy, and pan-Nordic premium television channel operator C More Entertainment.

Warner Bros. Discovery Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) is a division of Warner Bros. Discovery. The division is responsible for managing the collection of their cable and satellite networks around the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.

Cutting Room Studios is an audio mastering studio located in Stockholm, Sweden since 1980. Cutting Room was founded in the 1970s by Peter Strindberg, and is currently owned by Björn Engelmann. Sitting in a five studio location they have dedicated three of them to audio mastering. The remaining two studios have been dedicated to digital film, video restoration, DVD & Blu-ray as well as 7.1 audio mastering, which Cutting Room has been also working with since 2001.

The Stampen Group is a Swedish media group and one of Sweden's biggest newspaper owners. The main businesses are local newspapers, of which the largest is Göteborgs-Posten. It was founded in 2005. The Stampen Group owns a total of 23 Swedish newspapers, 35 free local weeklies, the printing group V-TAB and distribution companies. The Stampen Media Partner is a business area in the Stampen Group with several large Swedish online communities and mobile marketing agency Mobiento. mktmedia is a development company within the group, developing common platforms for web publishing and mobile marketing for 47 Swedish newspaper titles.

TS started in 1937 as a section within Institutet för marknadsundersökningar (IMU, the institute for market research) and became an independent company in 1943. It used to be jointly owned by the advertising bureau association (Annonsbyråföreningen) and the Swedish newspaper publishers' association (Tidningsutgivarna, TU). In 1994 it was sold to Scribona, an office electronics redistributor, which was a recent spinn-off from the Esselte group. Scribona then acquired Sifo, merged TS into this, sold it to the British WPP Group, where it became SIFO Research International. The main offices for SIFO and TS remain in central Stockholm, at Vasagatan 11.
