The group is present in eleven sectors including automotive, oil and specialty chemicals, banking and finance, IT and ITeS, cyber security, healthcare, trading, infrastructure project development, media and entertainment, power, and real estate. The net worth of the Hinduja brothers was estimated to be US$32 billion in 2022, making them the wealthiest people in the United Kingdom. In May 2023, company patriarch Srichand Hinduja died.

Its manufacturing facilities are located at Dahej and Vadodara in Gujarat. The company manufactures chemicals such as caustic soda, sodium cyanide, chloromethanes, sodium ferrocyanide, caustic potash, potassium carbonate, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid (85%) and hydrogen peroxide.

Century Plyboards (India) Ltd. is an Indian manufacturer, seller and exporter of plywoods, laminates, doors, PVCs and veneers. The company offers plywood products under the brand name, Century Ply, and exports its products to over 20 countries. Spread into a 6.6 acre area, the company's plant is located at Bishnupur, near Joka, Kolkata. Century Plyboards started the commercial production of MDF (Medium Density Fibre) at its newly set-up unit at Punjab recently. Century Ply (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Century Plyboards, has acquired 49% stake in Huesoulin Wood Processing Factory Co. Ltd., making it as its associate company.

Ordnance Factory Tiruchirappalli (OFT), also called Ordnance Factory Trichy, is a small arms factory operated by Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited based in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, which was previously part of Ordnance Factory Board of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The company is headed only by an IOFS officer called General Manager (ex officio Additional Secretary to Government of India) who is the chief executive officer, responsible for the overall management of the company.

In 2021, Government having corporatise the functions of the 41 Indian Ordnance Factories into 7 Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs), the Government is merging them again in 2024, as the output of one factory serves as the input of the other.

Deepak Mehta is the chairman of the company and his son Maulik Mehta is the chief executive officer.

The Bangalore Press is an Indian printing press company that was founded on August 5, 1916. It is one of the oldest companies of India. The company was established by Sir M. Visvesvaraya, the Prime minister of Mysore. The Bangalore Press prints calendars, diaries, panchangas (almanacs), books and notebooks. It is well known for publishing calendars. It produces 18 lakh calendars each year and has a valuation of nearly ₹200-crore, as reported by The Hindu Business Line.

Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited (KSDL) is an Indian company, owned by the Government of Karnataka, that manufacturers personal care products including Mysore Sandal Soap. It was founded as Government Sandalwood Oil Factory in 1916 by sosale garalapuri shastri and M. Visvesvaraya for extracting and exporting sandalwood oil. It launched Mysore Sandal Soap in 1918, and has since manufactured soaps and cosmetics products. The company became a public sector enterprise in 1980 and was renamed as KSDL.
