Libraries established in 1907

The Kaiser Library is a government-run public library in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is located in the Keshar Mahal palace complex. The library was established in 1907 by the then Prime Minister of Nepal, Chandra Shumsher Jang Bahadur Rana for his son, Kaiser (Keshar) Shumsher Rana. The library hosts some rare and ancient books on Buddhism, Tantrism and astrology. Some are written on palm-leaf manuscript. The books include a 1,100-year-old copy of the Sushruta Samhita, an ancient Sanskrit text on medicine listed in UNESCO's international Memory of the World Register. This manuscript is now the subject of an international research project.

Tallinn Central Library (Estonian: Tallinna Keskraamatukogu) is a library in Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia. The library was the first public library for a town in Estonia, and served as the nation's legal deposit library for ten years during its early existence. The library currently provides services to those who are unable to access a physical branch through a bookmobile, and provides access to works of modern Estonian literature via e-book throughout the world to anyone with internet access.

Heilongjiang Provincial Library (Chinese: 黑龙江省图书馆; pinyin: Hēilóngjiāng Shěng Túshūguǎn) is the largest library in Heilongjiang Province, as well as a major provincial library in China. It houses important scientific, cultural and arts literature relating to Northeast China and other national historical records such as ancient Chinese and foreign publications.

The Rhodes University Library is a library located in Makhanda, under the Makana municipality. It was initially established in 1937 in the Clock Tower building of Rhodes University College.

The Omsk State Regional Research Library, named after Alexander Pushkin, is the oldest public library in Omsk and is the main research library in the region.

Warsaw Public Library – Central Library of the Masovian Voivodeship (Polish: Biblioteka Publiczna m.st. Warszawy – Biblioteka Główna Województwa Mazowieckiego) is a public library serving as the main city public library of Warsaw, as well as of the Masovian Voivodeship, and one of the largest in Poland. It is known colloquially as Koszykowa Library (Polish: Biblioteka na Koszykowej) after Koszykowa Street on which it is located.

The Library of Catalonia (Catalan: Biblioteca de Catalunya) is the Catalan national library, located in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The primary mission of the Library of Catalonia is to collect, preserve, and spread Catalan bibliographic production and that related to the Catalan linguistic area, to look after its conservation, and to spread its bibliographic heritage while maintaining the status of a center for research and consultation.

Pollokshields Library is in Leslie Street, central Pollokshields, Glasgow. The plans were prepared by Thomas Gilmour under the supervision of City Engineer & Surveyor, Alexander B. McDonald. The library was officially opened on 20 February 1907 by Sir John Stirling Maxwell. The Edwardian Baroque building is protected as a category B listed building.

The National Library of Wales (Welsh: Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru), in Aberystwyth, is the national legal deposit library of Wales and is one of the Welsh Government sponsored bodies. It is the biggest library in Wales, holding over 6.5 million books and periodicals, and the largest collections of archives, portraits, maps, and photographic images in Wales. The Library is also home to the national collection of Welsh manuscripts, the National Screen and Sound Archive of Wales, and the most comprehensive collection of paintings and topographical prints in Wales. As the primary research library and archive in Wales and one of the largest research libraries in the United Kingdom, the National Library is a member of Research Libraries UK (RLUK) and the Consortium of European Research Libraries (CERL).

The Yorkville Library is a branch of the Toronto Public Library in Toronto's Yorkville neighborhood, in Ontario, Canada. Established in 1907, the branch is Toronto Public Library's oldest. This library and the Toronto Reference Library form the closest distance between two library locations, at only 100m away from each other.
