Kanniyath Ahmed Musliyar (Arabic:كنّيت احمد مسليار, Malayalam: കണ്ണിയത്തു അഹ്മദ്‌ മുസ്‌ലിയാര്‍) former president of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama, was a 20th-century scholar of Muslim Kerala. He championed many successful orations against the noval groups emerged in the very century and famous as the teacher of the greatest scholar E.K Aboobacker Musliyar. He was notable for his piety and his extraordinary command in the Islamic jurisprudence. He was blessed with numerous students who later became shining star in the sunni horizon.

Pangil Ahmed Kutty Musliyar (Malayalam: പാങ്ങില് അഹ്മദ് കുട്ടി മുസ്ലിയാറ്, Arabic: بانغل احمد كدي مسليار) prominent scholar hailing from Kerala, is the second president of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama. He was the spear head of Sunni horde during the early period of the intellectual war against the novelty based group and was the reformer leader of Mappilas. His lineage reaches to Swahabas and Thabees.

E. K. Aboobacker Musliyar (also called Shamsul Ulama, "the sun of the scholars") was a Sunni Muslim scholar and religious leader from Kerala, South India.

Kanthapuram A. P. Aboobacker Musliyar (Arab world known as: Sheikh Aboobacker Ahmad (شيخ ابوبكر أحمد)), Malayalam: കാന്തപുരം എ.പി. അബൂബക്കര്‍ മുസ്ലിയാര്‍ (born on 22 March 1939) is the leader and scholar of one of the traditionalist Sunni Muslims in Kerala, India. Usthad Shaikh Aboobackar bin Ahmad is the General Secretary of the All India Muslim Scholars Association (All India Sunni Jam-Iyyathul Ulema) and founder and Chancellor of Jamia Markazu Ssaquafathi Ssunniyya (Sunni Cultural Centre), Karanthur, Kozhikode, Kerala. He is also chief patron of the Sunni Youth Society and General Secretary,Samastha Kerala Jamiat Ulema (Kerala) Kanthapuram is a scholar, orator, writer, organizer, educationist and fore-fighter of social revivalism. Over the years Kanthapuram has expressed very conservative views on women's liberties. Kanthapuram was 10th accused in Chekannur Maulavi murder case, he was acquitted by the Kerala HC.

Pukkoya Tangal, full P. M. S. A. Pukkoya Tangal (d. 1975), of the Pukkoya Tangal family of Panakkad, was an Indian community leader and Indian Union Muslim League politician from Kerala. He served as the President of Indian Union Muslim League (Kerala) and the President of Samastha Kerala Jamiat ul-Ulema (the body of Sunni-Shafi'i scholars in Kerala).

Ullal Thangal (Sayd Abdur-rahman Kunhikkoya Thangal, 1920 - 1 February 2014) was a Sunni Muslim scholar from the Indian state of Kerala, South India. He was the President of Samastha Kerala Sunni Jam'iyyathul Ulama, the organization of scholars and clerics under the Sunni faction of Muslims of Kerala. Known as the Crown Among the Clerics ("Taj-ul Ulama"), Ullal Thangal was a prominent member of the Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama before the split of the Sunnis in 1989.
