Keirin cyclists

Koichi Nakano (中野 浩一, Nakano Kōichi) (born November 14, 1955 in Kurume, Fukuoka) of Japan is a former professional racing cyclist and ten-consecutive-time world champion in track cycling sprint. He is among the best track sprinters of modern times. From 1977 to 1986, he won an unprecedented 10 consecutive gold medals in professional sprint events at the UCI track world Championships. He was one of the most successful competitors of all-time on the Japanese professional keirin circuit.

Shinji Nakano (中野慎詞, Nakano Shinij, born 8 June 1999) is a Japanese track cyclist. He is also active in Japan as a keirin cyclist.

Fuko Umekawa (梅川風子, Umekawa Fuko, born 1 March 1991) is a Japanese track cyclist. She is also active in Japan as a keirin cyclist.

Li Xuemei (Chinese: 李雪妹) is a Chinese professional track cyclist.

Keiji Kojima (小嶋 敬二, Kojima Keiji, born 9 November 1969) is a Japanese cyclist. He competed in two events at the 1992 Summer Olympics. He is also a professional keirin cyclist with over 600 wins. He won the best keirin cyclist of the year award in 2007.

Kazuaki Sasaki (佐々木 一昭, Sasaki Kazuaki, born 17 July 1967) is a Japanese former cyclist. He competed in the team pursuit event at the 1988 Summer Olympics. He later became a professional keirin cyclist with over 200 wins.

Koichi Azuma (我妻 広一, Azuma Kōichi, born 24 October 1966) is a Japanese former cyclist. He competed in the team pursuit event at the 1988 Summer Olympics. He later became a professional keirin cyclist with more than 200 wins.

Kota Asai (浅井 康太, Asai Kōta, born 22 June 1984) is a Japanese male track cyclist, riding for the national team. He competed at the 2010 and 2011 UCI Track Cycling World Championships. He is also a professional keirin cyclist.

Ryoko Nakagawa (中川 諒子, Nakagawa Ryōko, born 29 May 1984) is a Japanese female track cyclist. She competed in the 500 m time trial and team sprint event at the 2011 UCI Track Cycling World Championships. She is also a professional keirin cyclist.

Yudai Nitta (新田祐大, Nitta Yūdai, born 25 January 1986) is a Japanese track cyclist. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the Men's team sprint for the national team. He is also active in Japan as a keirin cyclist.
