Jining

Jining Rail Transit is a public transport system under construction in Jining, Shandong, China.

Tianhuang (Chinese: 田黄镇) is a town in Zoucheng, Jining, in southwestern Shandong province, China.

Guanyinge Subdistrict (simplified Chinese: 观音阁街道; traditional Chinese: 觀音閣街道; pinyin: Guānyīngé Jiēdào; 'Guanyin Temple') is a subdistrict in Shizhong District, Jining, Shandong province, China. As of 2011, it has 12 residential communities (社区) and two villages under its administration.

Rencheng (Chinese: 任城; pinyin: Rènchéng) is one of two districts and the seat of the city of Jining in Shandong province, China. In November 2013 Shizhong District was merged into Rencheng.

Liangshan County (Chinese: 梁山县; pinyin: Liángshān Xiàn) is a county situated in the southwest of Shandong province, China. It is administered by the prefecture-level city of Jining.

Qufu (pronounced Chinese: 曲阜) is a county-level city in southwestern Shandong province, East China. It is located about 130 kilometres (81 mi) south of the provincial capital Jinan and 45 km (28 mi) northeast of the prefectural seat at Jining. Qufu has an area of 815 square kilometers, and a total population of 653,000 inhabitants, of which, 188,000 live in urban areas.

Yanzhou (postal: Yenchow; simplified Chinese: 兖州; traditional Chinese: 兗州; pinyin: Yǎnzhōu) is a district in the prefecture-level city of Jining, in the southwest of Shandong province, People's Republic of China. It was also the name of one of the Nine Provinces in ancient China, where Yu combated floods by water control.

Jining (simplified Chinese: 济宁; traditional Chinese: 濟寧 / 濟寗; pinyin: Jǐníng) is a former capital of Shandong. Is a prefecture-level city in southwestern Shandong province. It borders Heze to the southwest, Zaozhuang to the southeast, Tai'an to the northeast, and the provinces of Henan and Jiangsu to the northwest and south respectively. Jining, which is located directly to the north of Lake Nanyang (Chinese: 南阳湖; pinyin: Nányáng Hú), is today the northernmost city reachable by navigation on the Grand Canal of China making it an important inland port.

Yanzhou Coal Mining Company Limited (simplified Chinese: 兖州煤业股份有限公司; traditional Chinese: 兗州煤業股份有限公司), majority owned by Yankuang Group, is a coal mining company in mainland China. It is engaged in underground mining coal preparation and sales, and railway transportation service of coal. Its products are mainly low-sulphur coal which is suitable for large-scale power plant and for use in pulverized coal injection.

Jining Medical University (Chinese: 济宁医学院) is a public institution of higher learning in Jining and Rizhao, Shandong province, China. It was founded in 1952 as Jining Medical Assistant School (济宁医士学校), in 1958 it became Jining Medical College (济宁医学院), and from 1959 to 1986 it was renamed as 济宁医学专科学校 (Jining Medical College, Three-Year MD program), and it was changed to its current name 济宁医学院 again (Jining Medical College, Five-Year MD program) in 1987.
