Known for her videos on her now-inactive YouTube channel, Kjellberg has also ventured into writing, fashion designing, and business. She is married to Swedish YouTuber PewDiePie.

Umberto Eco OMRI (5 January 1932 – 19 February 2016) was an Italian medievalist, philosopher, semiotician, cultural critic, political and social commentator, and novelist. In English, he is best known for his popular 1980 novel The Name of the Rose, a historical mystery combining semiotics in fiction with biblical analysis, medieval studies, and literary theory, and Foucault's Pendulum, his 1988 novel which touches on similar themes.

His worldwide fame is mostly due to his novel The Tartar Steppe, and he is also known for his well-received collections of short stories.

Leo Lionni (May 5, 1910 – October 11, 1999) was an Italian-American author and illustrator of children's books. Born in the Netherlands, he moved to Italy and lived there before moving to the United States in 1939, where he worked as an art director for several advertising agencies, and then for Fortune magazine. He returned to Italy in 1962 and started writing and illustrating children's books. In 1962, his book Inch by Inch was awarded the Lewis Carroll Shelf Award.

Carlo Lorenzini (24 November 1826 – 26 October 1890), better known by the pen name Carlo Collodi was an Italian author, humourist, and journalist, widely known for his fairy tale novel The Adventures of Pinocchio.

Giambattista Basile (Naples, 4 February 1583 (date of baptism) – February 1632) was an Italian poet, courtier, and fairy tale collector. His collections include the oldest recorded forms of many well-known (and more obscure) European fairy tales. He is chiefly remembered for writing the collection of Neapolitan fairy tales known as Il Pentamerone.
