Waterford Wedgwood plc was an Irish holding company for a group of firms that specialized in the manufacture of high-quality porcelain, bone china and glass products, mostly for use as tableware or home decor. The group was dominated by Irish businessman Tony O'Reilly and his family, including his wife Chryss Goulandris and her family, with the two families together having invested hundreds of millions of euros in it. The group's financial record was mixed, and significant cost-cutting had been ongoing for many years.

Flyleaf Press is a publishing company based in Dublin, Ireland. It was founded in 1987 by James Ryan and publishes guides and references for Irish family history and genealogy. These include a series of guides on tracing ancestors in several counties of Ireland. Flyleaf Press is a member of CLÉ, the Irish Book Publishers' Association.

Woodie's is an Irish DIY and home improvement retailing company. Founded in 1987 in Walkinstown, Dublin and opening the first store in the same year, it is a part of Grafton Group plc. Woodie's is a nationwide company, having over thirty stores in Ireland. It operationally merged with Atlantic Homecare, the consumer division of Heiton Group that was acquired by Grafton Group in 2005, with all Atlantic Homecare stores eventually being rebranded as Woodie's after Atlantic Homecare entered examinership in 2012

Cooley Distillery is an Irish whiskey distillery on the Cooley Peninsula in County Louth, Ireland established in 1987 and owned by Suntory Global Spirits, a subsidiary of Suntory Holdings of Osaka, Japan.

Dublin Bus (Irish: Bus Átha Cliath) is an Irish state-owned bus operator providing services in Dublin. By far the largest bus operator in the city, it carried 145 million passengers in 2023. It is a subsidiary of Córas Iompair Éireann.
