International water polo

PanAm Aquatics (formerly Spanish: Unión Americana de Natación, English: Swimming Union of the Americas, popularly known by its acronym UANA or ASUA) is the swimming continental association for the Americas (i.e. it oversees international aquatics competition within North and South America).

Asia Aquatics, formerly Asia Swimming Federation (AASF), oversees international aquatics competitions in Asia, and is affiliated to the Olympic Council of Asia and to World Aquatics. It was founded in 1978 in Bangkok; and currently has its administrative headquarters in Muscat, Oman.

World Aquatics Cadet Water Polo Championships is an international water polo tournament held every two years for the players under the age of 16. It was launched by World Aquatics in 2022.

Africa Aquatics, previously known as African Swimming Confederation (CANA), is the continental association charged with overseeing swimming for Africa. CANA was founded in 1970, with 7 members. By 2008 it had 43 members.

LEN European Junior Water Polo Championship is a continental water polo tournament held every two years for the players under the age of 15.

The LEN Women's Challenger Cup is a water polo club competition organised by the Ligue Européenne de Natation (LEN). It acts as the third tier, below the LEN Women's Champions League and the LEN Women's Euro Cup. Its first season will commence in 2023–24.

The LEN Challenger Cup is a water polo club competition organised by the Ligue Européenne de Natation (LEN). It acts as the third tier, below the LEN Champions League and the LEN Euro Cup. GS Apollon Smyrnis of Greece became the first champions, defeating CN Terrassa of Spain in the final.

The 2023 Pan American Water Polo Championships was the 10th edition of the continental championship, organised by the Swimming Union of the Americas. It was the 10th and 8th men's and women's competition respectively. This is the first tournament since being renamed as the 2023 Pan American Water Polo Championships. The tournament was held in Bauru, Brazil. It acted as the continental qualification for the Water Polo at the 2023 World Aquatics Championships, and men's and women's FINA Water Polo World Cup Division 2, with the top two from each gender qualifying for both tournaments. However, in regards to the FINA Water Polo World Cup Division 2, each team that qualified declined the invitation.

The water polo tournaments at the 2015 European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan were held at the Baku Aquatics Centre in the Baku Games Cluster from 12 to 21 June 2015. 16 teams competed in the men's tournament and 12 teams in the women's tournament.
