Fatou Bom Bensouda (née Nyang; born 31 January 1961) is a Gambian lawyer and international criminal law prosecutor.

Serge, Baron Brammertz (born 17 February 1962) is a Belgian jurist. He serves as the chief prosecutor for the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals since 2016. He also served as the chief prosecutor for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia from 2008 until its closure in 2017.

Richard Joseph Goldstone (born 26 October 1938) is a South African former judge. After working for 17 years as a commercial lawyer, he was appointed by the South African government to serve on the Transvaal Supreme Court from 1980 to 1989 and the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of South Africa from 1990 to 1994.

Luis Gabriel Moreno Ocampo (born 4 June 1952) is an Argentine lawyer and the former first Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC). He previously worked as a prosecutor in Argentina, where he gained fame by representing the public face of the prosecution in the military officials in the Trial of the Juntas.

Essa M. Faal is a Gambian international lawyer who is a defence counsel at the International Criminal Court (ICC) and a senior partner at Faal and Co. Faal led the prosecution in the Darfur investigations and as a lead defence counsel for a number of other cases. In 2018, he was appointed as chief prosecutor at the Gambian Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission (TRRC).

Phakiso Mochochoko (born 4 September 1957) is a diplomat from Lesotho who helped create the International Criminal Court (ICC). As of 2020, Mochochoko is Head of the Jurisdiction, Complementarity and Cooperation Division at the ICC, a role he has held since 2011.

Karim A. A. Khan QC (born 1970) is a British lawyer and a specialist in international criminal law and international human rights law. Following his appointment by United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, he is currently an Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and serves as the Special Adviser and Head of the UN Investigative Team for the Promotion of Accountability for Crimes Committed by Da'esh/ISIL in Iraq (UNITAD), which was established pursuant to Security Council Resolution 2379 (2017) to support domestic efforts to hold ISIL (Da'esh) accountable for acts that may amount to war crimes, genocide, and crimes against humanity in Iraq.

The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court is the officer of the International Criminal Court whose duties include the investigation and prosecution of the crimes under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court, namely genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes as well as the crime of aggression.
